Ok usually I don't make posts about episodes regarding Shivika moments because there are so many other experts in the forum. But after a long time, there was an Ishqbaaz episode that really did hit me.
The start was absolutely amazing. I loved how she gave him the ROYAL IGNORE and didn't say a single word to him. Her silence and her eyes spoke volumes this time. I also loved how agitated Shivaay was because he had to find out through someone else about this attack. He is so used to being the one who she comes to with problems that he has literally taken her for GRANTED. So since this is the first time she didn't reach out to him ( which she did), I felt there was an element of fear in his voice. At this moment I said in my head: : " Yeh toh bas shuruwad hain😡"
Then Daksh interrupted them (just like always) but this time I welcomed it. I loved how he threw it on Shivaay's face that he was THERE for her. Obviously Shivaay's agitation grew tenfolds which was displayed in his series of questions towards her. And I loved how Daksh then asked him to focus on his own wedding because I would have said the same thing. At this point I was basically like "You have done enough. Now mind your own business and move along 😡😡"
Then came that EPIC HAND-WITHDRAWL! He grabs her arm trying to make some sort of connection with her because he could feel that distance between them. He knew that even though she was right there next to him, she was actually a million miles away. The best part of this scene was when she said she was ok and she just took her hand OUT of his hold and walked away because it conveyed that she was starting to take away his HAQ on her. I also loved how SHE initiated this distance and space between them. It has been always him drawing that LINE between them. Yes Anika has also done that a few times but just like that hug scene, this scene to me had a lot of impact.
Then came that tip scene. Again, I loved how she confronted Shivaay about the money. Even after all the misunderstanding and her obvious emotional stress, she still acted logically and asked him exactly what the money was for. She could have easily jumped to conclusions and believed Tia after what she heard what he said about her. And again, he acted like an IDIOT! Would it have killed him to answer her question in a straight-forward way instead of 20Q'ing her again??!!! I mean she is the BLOODY WEDDING PLANNER! Even though she was there for other reasons, he knew she got the money for the wedding. So any responsible wedding planner would always want to double-check and confirm where her boss wants the money to go...GOD!!!😡😡
I have to admit my heart broke when I saw the expression on Ani's face when she turned back to look at him. There was absolute raw pain in her eyes. She threw away the money like it was the scum beneath her chameli and that anguish turned into absolute RAGE.
It was painful how she was trying to convince herself she was not in love with that difficult man. It's unfortunate that sometime a beautiful emotion like love can cause such agony.. My heart really did ache for Anika here because for the first time, I think she felt helpless. Even though she was trying very hard to convince herself , somewhere she knew that this was beyond her control..
But Anika wouldn't be Anika if she didn't show defiance even in the matters of her heart. So she wiped away her tears like a big girl and stood up ready to fight another battle.This time a battle against HER OWN HEART!
Om's speech was as usual AMAZING! Seriously sometimes the show really makes me wish I had a brotherðŸ˜ðŸ˜. Seeing their everlasting love for each other makes you truly wish they always stay together even though they are just characters in a show...
The dance scene was just confusing for me. I seriously did not understand how he looks so damn happy. it didn't sit well with me at all. But then I guess I understood in a way after Anika walked in. When she wasn't there, he could forget about his issues for some time and just distract himself.. even if it was for a little while.As soon as she walked in, his smile wiped away because he saw EXACTLY WHAT he was pushing away. I wish Anika looked stronger in this scene. I wish she looked him straight in the eye and wore a mask of indifference. I wish she had a look that said " Look at me all you want. But I will not let you affect me anymore!" Shivaay as usual did not acknowledge what he felt and looked away like a coward.
All in all, I'm happy that Shivaay is finally starting to get a taste of his own medicine. And I'm happy that they are starting to slowly bring back Anika's strong character.I want this strength to be displayed when the marriage track starts. I want Anika to give Shivaay a run for his money and burn him just the way he has burnt her😡😡
P.S. sorry for the long post and apologies if my hateful feelings towards Shivaay has hurt anyone. I feel like I'm acting like a petulant child but yeh dil maanta nahin 😆😆. I also just saw Gul's video and am currently SO HAPPY at the devastated look on Shivaay's face at the end of the video. It was a basic TIT for TAT!😈 Also loved how she had her back to him. It basically symbolised her turning away from him TO DAKSH.
He proposed to Tia in front of Anika and THANKED HER for making him realise his feelings. It is going to be EPIC when she says "YES" to Daksh's proposal after the way he spoke on her behalf AGAIN! You know what they say Shivaay! KARMA SUCKS like a WITCH with a "B"!!!!! hahahahah "evil laugh fades away"😈😈
