Kaun hai..?? she whispered into the darkness, trying to be louder than it actually came out of her shivering lips. She always had this fear for darkness but never had she let it overcome her strength. But today there was something really eerie about it.
As soon as Anika entered her home the lights had went off. All this had to happen today only when both Sahil and bua were not at home, she thought to herself. She looked around for candles but to her dismay could find nothing to her rescue. She tried to look with the help of her phone's light when suddenly she heard the rattling of windows only to make her fear worsen. She was about to close the window when she saw a shadow just passing by her side..! kaun hai??? she shouted out loud but there was no response.
Her heart started to beat so loudly that she could almost hear it in the silent room. The silence was broken by her phone ringing. She looked at her phone only to find an unknown number calling her. She picked it up and heard someone saying " ab kahan bachke jaaogi mujhse... Meri nazar tumhare harr kadam pe hai.." "kaun bol raha hai??" she asked really freaking out. But the caller had dropped the call.
She tried moving out of the house but the door was locked from outside. Tears of panic started to fall from her eyes. It felt as if the darkness would consume her. She gathered some strength and thought of calling someone soon for help and the first person that came to her mind was billu ji. She dialled his number but it was not reachable. she tried again and it was the same. She heard some noise from the kitchen and ran towards her room and locked it from inside. She sat in one corner of the room like a baby with her palms covering her face so that no one could see her. Suddenly she heard foot steps outside her room and the banging on the door. She could not see anything because of the darkness and was about to faint when she heard a familiar voice calling out her name.."Anika..."
It was the same voice that had earlier that day said her name was just anika and nothing else while introducing her... She heard him say it again.. Anika .. are you ok?? Darwaza kholo... She called out to him in response..Billu ji mai yahan hu... Before she could get up to open the door she heard a loud thundering sound from outside and screamed in horror. She couldn't comprehend what was going around suddenly and got startled by the loud noise. Hearing her scream , Shivaay broke open the door and entered her room. He saw her sitting in a corner with a terrified expression on her face. Never had he seen Anika so scared in all the time he knew her. The Anika he knew was a fighter.. she would never bow in front of anyone. His heart went out for her seeing her in that state.
As soon as Anika saw Shivaay..she ran upto him and hugged him tightly...as hard as she could.. as if her life depended on him. Shivaay in return wrapped his arms around her shaking body and ran his hands behind her back in order to calm her down.. "Mai aagaya anika.. sab theek hai.. mai hu Na yahin tumhare saath.. Kuch nai hoga.." he said softly into her ears. "Mai wo.. andhera.. koi tha..." she tried to put her fear into words but could not. Shivaay understood what she wanted to say and instantly replied to her "Koi nai hai yahan..Dekho meri taraf.. Sirf mai hu...aur mai tumhe Kuch nai hone dunga.. " he said cupping her face and wiping a tear that was falling from her cheeks. "Chalo mere saath... tum yahan nai rahogi aaj.." She looked into his eyes and saw so much concern in them for her that she had seen only for his brothers. She just nodded without letting go off him. Slowly she calmed down in his arms and felt her heartbeat becoming normal again. She then asked the first thing that came to her mind "Aapko kaise pata Chala mai yahan..." before she could complete her question about how he knew that she was in trouble, he understood and wasn't sure of the answer himself. so he just said the truth " Mujhe bass laga ki tum kisi museebat mein ho toh mai aagaya..." "Lekin kaise..? she asked. " I don't know. I just sensed it.." he said it in his typical manner. She kept looking at him and felt like she had found all that she'd lost throughout her life time. He was her dark Knight. He held her by her waist and walked her out of the house to the car. Today both of them had seen a new side of each other.
My first post in this forum. Couldn't stop thinking about this scene since I saw the promo... so just wrote something..
