Because hate marriage/MU marriage is too much of a mess. Shivaay needs to be with Om right now, and if Annika happens in a wrong way, it'll create too much of a raita phail gaya situation. Because then, what will Shivaay do? Support his brother or play hate games with his new wife? And I don't want a crying Annika, sad because Billuji is taunting her every now and then.

In a compromise marriage, there will be initial awkwardness between them, as it does in newly married couples, but then Annika can openly support Shivaay and Shivaay can openly accept her support, and they will also get time to understand each other. And she can also help Om and no one will stop her, as she is the ultimate savior of the Oberoi khaandan. 😆

Even better if Shivaay says the show must go on... once Tia is exposed on the wedding day, he will choose to get married that day to Anika..make a deal with her as both of them understand that marriage is a deal between 2 people. He won't make promises and neither will she. This will be great to see, their progression and acceptance of feelings for each other.
