You know I just thought of something...

maybe he said "I'll see you tomorrow' because 'sorry' or 'take care' is like saying goodbye and he couldn't say goodbye so he had to say something optimistic about seeing her again!

You are absolutely right.. but he is such a gobar. He actually sat their getting almost married... I mean how stubborn can he be ruining himself.. 😕
