Question about rudra's honesty

It is unclear to me..were ishaana's allegations right?..because in the second or third episode rudra was lying to 2 girls by reassuring each that his affections lie with her only and that the other girl is after him/being a "chipku"...he didn't want the two to interact as if some truth would be out..no? I don't remember clearly as it was way back and after those episodes I don't know if something like this was shown again...so were the makers insinuating that he was two timing or something?😕
