Hi Innika
That's the problem dear, Ishana has no screen space at all.

Hope soon we get lot of Ishana and her character is written well so that we all can love her.

I know Om loves Ridhima, and I know IshKara will be the end game so waiting to know how this happens.

Shivaay is elder so he will get married first I am assuming.

Waiting for IshKara but there is a limit too.

Welcome to the forum Paridhi's lil sister. 😃
Ok coming to the post, it's a really well-written well put post. 😊

I'd just like to say from our side, yes we may sound like whiny little beings. It's only cuz the other two couples have been shown well and there is a steady growth and progress in their story. For a story to progress, everyone don't need to go live at one place. 😆 Cvs don't seem to understand that. 😡

Our only issue is that, Ishana/IshKara are not shown at all and once in a bluemoon when a 1minute scene does come, it is a half-baked, insensible, illogical meaningless scene. That usually ends in an abrupt way or left open-ended. 🥱 This leads to inconsistency in their story and noone is able to connect to them.

We have been patient, we have been appreciative and considerate of the cvs efforts but outside of the forum many don't know what is actually happening. That leads to confusion and worrying. There are mature, sensible fans, but like in every fandom there comes one whose comment may seem like an attacking one. 😵

We also don't like fights or the hate or the bashing and many of us don't even get involved in it. We wouldn't mind waiting if cvs take their time to bring out a beautiful story but not showing one lead at all is not the solution. 😕

Hoping for the best. 😃
Btw I'm Akshara. 😳 Lovely post and again a warm welcome to the forum dear. 😛😳[BR

Nice to meet you, Akshara! Thank you for being so nice 😊
I think your points are absolutely legitimate! I can understand why people are so upset, the Ishkara scenes that we have been given are skeletal.
I'm glad to hear that there are such lovely and understanding fans like you! It just really upset me because I've read too many superficial and baseless diatribes about the current Ishkara situation.
Again, thank you for being so welcoming!

Heya Innika!
I'm that person who likes all three couples. Though they haven't given us much to like anything in Ishkara, I really love the idea behind it and my first post in this forum was about giving this couple a chance.
When they started, it felt that they could manage all three couples at a time because they introduced them like that but clearly they weren't ready for it.

I'm not an Ishkara fan as such (Not yet) , but I do see a lot of potential there and would like to see more of them. If not Ishkara then at least individual Ishana scenes like Anika has with Saahil so that her character gets some growth. And for this the writers don't have to put in extra efforts to merge her with the rest of the caste but unfortunately even this is missing and I can only wonder why.

I really like Shivika and I'm very happy that their story is progressing but it's gets a little annoying when we see only one story moving ahead and the rest remain stagnant. Tej, Swetlena, Jahnvi - All of them seem to be missing from action and we don't see them doing their thing anymore. So I genuinely wish that they pay some attention to other things in the show as well because when they started, they came up with multiple plots and now its just one plot thats moving ahead. Though to some extent the Rumya track is progressing, No doubt!
I don't count Bua coming up with her flop plans as a progress in the family plot because that lady always fails at her stupid plans yet comes up with the same plans 😕 😆

Why I think Ishaana is been given a time-out is becoz her character has been totally screwed up. Totally in the sense, totally. Totally messed up.
And I would like to think that the writers are shaping up the character well so that she would fit in well... I hope the writers are really doing this..

These are my thoughts..

But then since this is a three lead show, definitely Ishana will make her presence

I do understand that the people who respond are giving reasonable responses, but then I just want to state that the negativity happens more due to some strange replies. Why do people suggest to comment to Gul or others from the creative team? It is their wish where they should everyone has a different way to express who are you to suggest ?

I just want to ask that when someone bash the show or SS of Anika, others come up saying don't watch then? If according to them the things you don't like should be avoided and they did not like the post why did they not avoid it?

Being a literature lover, I know that no one is the hero of a story for everyone who hears it, in every story different people perceive different characters as hero (Hindi movies could be exception as there people see the actor as the hero), so there is nothing wrong in perceiving someone else as the hero than the person you think is the hero,

Characters are fictional and are not affected by the bashing, but then to defend a character here people start bashing the thread maker, who is a real person, how much is it justified? I am not saying not to justify the character you love, but getting personal (and this happens both ways) is something I don't understand

I think use this forum for express your views or respond, but don't try to enforce your views on others
Don't think I am doing that, I am just expressing my personal feeling after going through the various posts, you are free to disagree

No, I think you're right!
I agree, I really do not like it when people try to push their opinions onto others. 😊

She doesn't! I completely understand where you're coming from :)
I really do hope the CVs do Ishana and Ishkara justice 😊

Hi Aahana, nice to meet you!
To be very honest, I'm not a crazy Ishkara fan either. To be fair, the CVs have not really indulged us with many Ishkara scenes yet!
I understand where you're coming from with the Shivika angle, it is frustrating at times. Especially because Ishkara is practically non-existent. And you're right, the secondary characters don't really get screentime at all! Svetlana, Tia, Priyanka, Tej and Shakti practically disappear every few episodes :/
OMG, Bua is such a let-down of a villain! 😆

Nice meeting you too!
Yes, You got me. Priyanka and Shakti seem so non-existent despite being a part of the main caste and living in the mansion wherein all the drama happens. Nothing happening on Om-Tej front as well. And this might sound very weird but can Jahnvi please go back to her old drinking habits? Its very odd that she's suddenly off it 😆
But I do understand the hurry when it comes to Shivika. Maybe its being done for the whole 'vanvaas' track to begin, referring to that long promo. If that's the reason then surely the other two female leads are also as important? Also the other members of the family - some of whom will be the architects of that track. Just wish that they sort this mess out because no PH would like to keep a large section of its fan base angry for too long.

Bua needs some serious lessons when to comes to Villain-giri. She's too bad 😆

Not everyone demanding Ishana and Ishkara bash Shivika. And cv's can take their time to set up IshKara but making Ishana invisible for almost a week is appalling.

Innu 🤗
Firstly, can I just tell you how surprised and proud, I am of you? I knew that you visit the forum, just as I know that you secretly write Shivika fanfiction, and I'm thrilled to see that you are finally posting!

Also, it's very strange to be replying to your comment online, when we are literally a wall apart. 😆

In regards to your post, I agree and disagree with your opinion.

As an eager IshKara shipper, it is hard to be patient when you are so invested in two characters and prospective ship, that clearly has the potential to reach iconic heights. And because I like giving credit, where I believe it is due - kudos to the actors, and believe it or not, the writers who had me hooked from the outset, (prior to the Bela-Mala confusion).

Having said this, I agree that it is absolutely wrong to bash other actors, characters and ships regarding screen space. It is not their fault. Screen space is dependent upon writing, and therefore if there is anyone to blame, it is the writers.

Unfortunately, CVs have plunged headfirst into the IshKara story, and to date, it remains plotless, and essentially non-existent, much to the chagrin of IshKara shippers.

If the CVs were not ready for Ishaana, they should have waited. I'd much prefer a strong, slow IshKara story, and quality moments between the characters than an abundance of poorly written scenes, and an underdeveloped plot.

Furthermore, Ishaana is completely neglected. She has a tragic backstory that could be integrated even in vestigial traces, but the writers have seemingly abandoned that track in totality. There doesn't need to be any IshKara moment at this point, (because I agree, it does seem contrived and illogical), but Ishaana should not be so blatantly disregarded.

For IshKara shippers, it's shaping up to be quite the uphill march. It's not very easy to be patient when your favourite character has seemingly disappeared from the show. Nevertheless, I completely support you - this is not a reason to attack other fandoms or characters.

PS. To all the lovely people who have welcomed my baby sister so kindly - thank you. I appreciate it. She's barely sixteen, and very introverted, so thank you for being friendly and making her feel so welcome.

PPS. Baby Innu, post that Shivika fic, that I know you are writing. You are insanely talented, so don't ever doubt yourself. ❤️
