Devaki was married to Vasudev, who was a subordinate king of the king of Mathura, Kans was very happy at this marriage and decided to drive the chariot while taking his sister to his in laws place.
While they were still in the way, there was an Aakashvani which said that the girl to whom you are taking to her in-laws place so affectionately will be the cause of your death, her 8th child will kill you

I understand Ki, in Pakistan itself people hardly teach about Hinduism (excluding the ill practices which gradually crept into the Hindu society which actually was never a part of Hindu texts) and here you are from Britain, the fact that you know even the basics is a big thing

@Noor, yes I was actually surprised with your knowledge of Ramayan. In fact I also like mythology, so I have read Avesta, Bible and Quran too along with the Hindu texts
