They are having polar opposite viewpoints and looking at Gul's track records I have a feeling that all these will lead to a personality reversal.

Shivaay will be sent to exile with Anika...and Om will probably turn into a cold-hearted businessman.

I have been having these feelings since yesterday's episode. Shivaay's beliefs being torn will make him a better person but Om's will turn him into a colder one.
