I really dont mind that Ishaana is a con or she is trying to con Om.Because i like flawed female characters alot.I can't relate to the usual female leads who are all mahaan and great and perfect.

Also i don't mind that Ishkaara story is beginning with Ishaana trying to con Om.This is is something different and i want to see a flawed female character changing for a good male character for once.

My only issue is that execution of their scenes is bad.Actors are fine. But editing, direction, writing and logic is not that great.Hope it improves as Om and Ishaana's story has potetntial to be really different.

But i really doubt if CV's can handle this as this kind of love story as this is not their forte.

I prefer a flawed female lead as well. It's a refreshing change from all the "mahaan" female leads so rampant nowadays on Tellyland.

I prefer flawed FLs, as well, and many of us don't mind that Ishana is a con. Though, what a lot of us can't digest is the execution: At first, we are shown that Ishaan truly enjoys conning people, she has fun with that. When she started stalking Om, even there she was jumping around with excitement at the prospect of a new challenge. Then, all of a sudden, we get that oh-so-sad background and it's nothing but her majboori. C'mon!

I would have loved it if she had been conning people just for the sake of it. Because she likes it, because she loves money, because she gets a kick out of it, whatever. Then, she would have truly been flawed - with this kind of background, CVs did giver her character a touch of "mahaanta" in a sense. But jo ho gaya, so ho gaya. I want to see how their story progresses, maybe they will surprise us in the future, who knows?

I agree.Yesteday ishkara scene wasn't bad actually. Its just bad editing that made it look flat.I was rewatching it from omkaras vedio gallery posted by alishba and observed that the scene was pretty fine. The editors are should stop mixing up scenes.

While I prefer flawed characters more, its no new to the TV the female lead being a con.
Gul Khan's season 2 of Qubool Hai has mostly the same plot of Ishqbaaz and the second female lead cons the second male lead. No big difference? Only the chemistry is going to be different.
I hope it plays out good.

I don't mind Ishana coning Om either. That would make the love story more interesting.

I agree that is what i was saying execution is the problem.CV's are not able to give proper screen space to this story hence everything seems rushed.

Ishana could have been a revelation if only she had elements of ruthlessness and grey in her. If she had to connive again Om; she should have done so without a tinge of guilt or remorse clouding her senses at any point of time.

What we are witnessing in turn is that she is doing this because of some majboori so that already adds a mahaanta angle into her which not acceptable. If she was flawed in every sense it would have been cooler but this one is a shallow mess so far. CV's need to buck up on this one. Con-artists are so much more than just a pretty face.
