I love anshi though ❤️

This is so true,
If we want the best out of Anshi, then we need the best out of each othe characters individually too. They should slow down the pace of romance and focus more on the characters and the 'why's' and 'what' made them how they are rn

Shivaay can be a very deep character if exploited properly. so far CV's have given him nothing to hold our interest apart from a few items here and there. CV's have to work on individual characters before we can fall in love with the couples.

I agree! They're just turning him into a staple angry young man, and while I don't mind that, I'd just love a lot more to see his backstory and what he's been through.
They're still making a few efforts on Anika's character but as of now Shivay's character is showing no other shades than the crass businessesman and the doting brother. I want to see more of who he is individually. What he likes to do when he's alone and all that jazz

While I don't mind the angry ruthless fellow, I can't stand them being two-dimensional. Shivaay's character is selling because of Nakul and nothing else. He lacks big time in terms of characterization so far.

Yes they are making efforts on Anika but there is no progress on them as a couple. I like to see how he is when he is in his solitude.

They really are banking on the age old formula of love hate to sell the couple to the viewers, which does work sadly(Me included, Better judgment be cursed🤢)
But, for them to stand out, or sustain any spark in the long term we need a good understanding of the characters. I hope they're not saving all of Shivay's past to add in later as some 'Hawww' twists later on in the show to keep it going. We atleast need a little taste, C'mmon Guys😕
Anyway, about Anika, I like her backstory but I do feel like they magnify her emotions a bit too much for me to take her seriously every time
P.S. Sorry for spamming the thread😲

Wonderful post Shivani (that's ur name right?) !! I so want to see the different layers of Shivaay's character!!!! Until now CVs haven't explored him at all! He comes across as just a power hungry angry and rude businessman ...but what's the reason behind this behaviour of his? Why does he think so lowly of middle class people ( I wish CVs show a good reason for this) ? A man who loves his brothers, sister and dadi so much can't be a bad man! So what stops him from being good and kind to the whole world?

CVs ..if u r reading this...I request u to plz explore more of Shivaay's character instead of rushing AnShi's story at 5G speed ..

As someone said, Shivaay is selling only coz of Nakuul...that's so true...

Amazing post!👏
Well,I too believe something has happened with him, something so grave which turned him into what he is today. I believe, there are many layers to Shivaay as well. and I can see them already.

Like, yesterday's scene Omkara being an alcoholic and actually Shivaay being his savior that time. Woah..Shivaay loves his brothers we all know,he had sent Om to rehab and helped him overcome drugs but what has he done to himself in return?he HIMSELF needs drugs to keep his body working? Isn't is quite amusing? He says he cannot afford to fall sick cause his every moment lays money, but is it so? or it's just he is really a afraid soul?

He is a really really scared kid from inside. That is what it seems to me. But yes, being always burdened with responsibility,be it Oberoi's heir race or being the elder brother,he never allowed himself to open up to others, even to his brothers. If he did,I believe he would not have needed medicines.

Yes,I would definitely like more insight scenes like - in the middle of the night he wakes up and takes medicines cause he is fearful, something is haunting him always. I agree here,CVs can really do alot work on Shivaay and give him lil such moments, but I'm afraid they are planning to do it.

As,you said he has already turned into a cold stone,as nobody cared anyways, now he needs needed heat, warmth to melt own the outer shield and let the kid inside him,who is so fearful, live.

And about AnShi Romance, well I'm their fan😆 but I think being a show they will have to show something entertaining and I guess what they r doing is not totally useless. By introducing Anika, they are trying to introduce Shivaay only. And maybe we'll get scenes of his solitude only when she enters in his life. That is the CVs,can't really do anything here.

I would also like to say,Omkara has turned into a brave soul now,so much positive and enthusiastic, but Shivaay is still stuck there only where he was since a kid.Just like a kid is so stubborn that now he is actually hurting the people around him, without giving it a second thought. In the process of getting hurt or suffering,he has started up to hurt back others!🤔

Exactly. Having a ragged hero as your protagonist isn't bad but then to shove him in our faces as a flat character that makes no progress whatsoever is irritating. Shivaay has the potential to open up more on his psyche and his past but the makers are hell bent on omitting on that aspect. Yes the hate-love story works but only for a while as people get bored. Case in point Geet-Maan, Arnav-Khushi, Asad-Zoya. ultimately people got bored.

Yes I agree. Even I need a little spice on Shivaay...I refuse to have this bland tasting dish being served on my platter. And you speak my mind! Anika is non-conforming but they are magnifying her pain to the size of Jupiter and presenting it as though she is the only one to have gone through all of that.

And regarding your P.S. Well I love stalkers and spammers to the core.😆
