Even if we think she is telling truth, then also she said 3 months 125 days is wrong time
Right now we are closer to 3 months 29/30 days, so my question is do they have to prep each it before 4 months and 10 days or they can prove nikah invalid after that time period as well
About Humdan's 40th, is it necessary to do it on 40 th day or due to some circumstances you can do it after 40 days as well.
For those 3 months thing- here is my take- she must run away and hiding from Humdan due to domestic violence, and she wanted to return India but can't as her passport was with Humdan. Here is where humdan found her and then during that time she killed him, she is portraying herself as bechari but she did all this just to get rid of him, and when finally when police caught her she twisted story according to her own will
So everything what they say is correct but but puzzles are joined on the wrong parts

She might have run away from humdan and stayed with her friend, as if she tried to make her passport after his death, high chances are that she will be caught but looks like she was caught by humdan when she was trying to make passport and he tried to kill her then n instead he was killed
So they would have read only Quran for his peace instead of calling it chalisva which symbolizes 40th day of death
