What Zara's mom said is true, no matter how much the girl dislikes marrying a particular guy or how modern she is, a girl who loves her parents a lot wouldn't say no on the day of the wedding as it would be an insult to her parents and family. I have seen this happen in real life. Its wrong in too many ways, its like an abuse of relationships, parent-child, marital... in this show the groom is aware that the bride is being forced but it might not be the same always. One takes the marrital vows with lots of dreams while the other with a compromising life in mind. In the tv shows or movies, ther's always a happy ending but in real lives most of the cases of forced marriages have bad endings, very few are lucky enough to fall in love with the person they married.

useless parents . why would u want to marry ur only daughter against her wishes ? and mom iherself is apprehensive and scared of ruksar staying in the same house .

Even though I like ZaBir and want this marriage to happen but if it is seen their parents are forcing them to... Which is probably not right... I wished to see them becoming good friends and then their nikah... But it's okay mature bonding would be shown between them gradually...
