Mishal's episode - 05/02

Mishal's back on television, yet our forum is completely dead. 😕 Why the silence, my lovely ladies? I personally don't feel Mishal's being given enough screen space in this cameo. He was almost a hit and miss in today's episode and didn't really have much to offer in terms of his character. I knew his character progression would be slow, but I didn't think we'd get to see him for a few minutes every episode. 😭 Anyhow, what have you all been liking the most about King? I like his loyalty to Pragya and Kiara. He truly is fulfilling his responsibility towards them as per his arrangement with Pragya. He does have a comical side to him as well. 😆 I'm just waiting for more of a background to his character. We don't really know too much about him at this point and I for one would like that to change. 😳 His costumes are also quite interesting - nothing I'd imagine of a rapper! Aren't Badshah and Yo Yo Honey Singh both Indian rappers? I don't recall their wardrobes being similar to King's. 😛 I don't see Abhi and Pragya meeting each other anytime soon either. I'd give the buildup towards their confrontation another two to three weeks before it actually happens. Until then, I suppose we'll have to manage with filler scenes and flashback scenes of Abhi and Pragya. Wouldn't now be the best time to explore King's story a bit more in depth? 😉

I just wish one thing that King doesn't turn negative.

Same sentiments, he is not given enough screen space. This entire week felt like I was on the airport😆😆😆 There are too many players in this drama so I guess we should not have any expectation of King's screen space.

I like the way he talks and explains things to Pragya and Kiara, understands both and is considerate about their feelings. There is some dignity in this character. Totally chilled out guy.

Very much interested in knowing how King and Pragya met. Under what circumstances K and P made this fake husband wife arrangement.

King can easily settle down with another girl, why he is doing so much for P and K?

More important why does Pragya trust King?

Fingers crossed, hope King doesn't turn negative.

I was initially a fan of Laado 2 and tuned in every now and then to watch Dakssh's performance on the show as Rantej Choudhary. You all know I think Dakssh is a marvelous actor. Mind you, I had never watched Season 1 of Ladoo when it was on air years ago. AG is completely right in her assessment about the show. The whole story went haywire the second month into the show and nothing made sense anymore. I thought Laado 2 was about the empowerment of women, but it really did turn into a show about witches and ghosts the last time I tuned in. I didn't understand the abrupt change in plot and gave up on the show. This article confirms what we've all discussed on the forum about TRPs being the major driving force of several subplots on any show. There seems to be an equation - the more illogical the plot, the more TRPs in terms of viewership. 🤔 Is it just me or do sequels never work on Indian television? I don't recall one show that had a second season that worked favourably for that franchise. 😕
