Would love to see SRK and Kajol work together.
I feel Aliya will get award for Raazi. Ranvir performed really well in Padmavat. I read somewhere that Filmfare is very partial and that actors buy that awards in advance. Not sure if that is true or not ...

It seems that Salim-Anarkali is going off air due to low TRPs.

I want to watch Shahrukh and Kajol in a simple story with a modest budget. I find that a lot of times, the content tends to lose itself in the grander scale productions in Bollywood. A lot of people liked SRK in Dear Zindagi because it was a change from his larger-than-life characters. 😳 I'm told that Hindi Medium itself was an entertaining film. Didn't Alia also win Best Actress for Udta Punjab? It was Rishi Kapoor who outed that information in an interview for his autobiography a couple of years ago. Akshay Kumar also alluded to same when he was on The Actors Round Table in 2015. I don't think underserving candidates have ever won the big four at Filmfare. The more critically acclaimed were always confined to the critics category in the past, but in recent years that's also changed as well. I recall actors like Sanjeev Kumar and Naseeruddin Shah winning Best Actor in the 70s and 80s. I highly doubt either of the two ever paid for any of their awards. Just my two cents on the topic. 😊 Thank you for the link, Ami! Dastaan-e-Mohabbat ended on Friday.

DAZZ, Naseer and Sanjeev Kumar are/were brilliant actors and they deserved awards for their work during that times. I am sure they never paid for awards. Paid award is more recent to my knowledge mostly when the Khans films were super success at the BO but not in terms of content. We don't know what goes behind these awards...
Yes, Alia won last year along with Shahid. I guess she will grab this year as well.
Didn't know Salim-Anar already ended.. i wanted to know the end...Did SA meet finally??

No, they didn't unite in the end. 💔 It's a tragic love story based entirely on fiction. Anarkali herself is a fictitious character.

Hi Mish,
Super exiceted to see you back..🤗❤️ You were dearly missed.
Hope you had great holiday season.
Also, hoping that you will be able to visit forum often.
I stopped following the KKB(reading updates)when King's character was not shown for almost three weeks last year. On and off I see the clips of his scenes. He is still in the show.
Whenever I get chance, I try to watch Patiala Babes on Sony... Something different..

Mish, welcome back! 🤗 You were missed on the forum in all of our discussions. I presume you've noticed that this thread is for our interest in music. 😳 I hope you'll be joining us soon because that was quite a long trip! 😉 I haven't followed KKB in months, but I am aware that MR is still on the show. In my opinion, Vin Rana is the parallel lead on the show. MR is nothing more than a supporting character. 😳 I do see clips here and there on Instagram and thankfully his wardrobe has seemed to change for the better. 😆 As for Silsila, I am following the show but with a throbbing headache. I don't understand how Mouli still isn't over Kunal after all these years and his infidelity, but nonetheless she's still hung over her ex-husband who left her pregnant without a second glance. 😡 The leap has been nothing but a bid to redeem Kunal's character in the audience's eyes. The only other shows I'm following at the moment are Lamhay and Aangan.

I find this extremely hard to believe, Ami. I have the utmost sympathy for the victims of this movement. but I can't fathom a name like Rajkumar Hirani being that despicable. 😲 I really hope he's cleared of these allegations because they could be severely detrimental to his career. I don't think any other filmmaker has had the same success as Raju Hirani in the past thirty years. The man delivers every single time!

I really want mishal to be in another serial as the lead. I don't watch kkb, though I watched some episodes just to see mishal in it 😆 but I don't see him much. 😭
