Mishal Raheja goes the Hollywood way for his web-series!

Actor & business maganate Mishal Raheja just helmed a production house under the banner Mangolake Pictures to produce series of web-series with Hookup Diaries' as his first project as a producer & actor to go on the floor by the end of this month.

The actor changed his entire team & has roped in 3 writers, one female for the show going the Hollywood route of show making business

Apparently, the actor announced his maiden ambitious project at the beginning of the year but now has revamped his entire team of writers & also his female lead. With a no-nonsense reputation in the past Mishal is every inch a perfectionist & is taking careful measures before rolling out his first digital show. Mishal's last outing as an actor was Ishq ka Rang Safed after which the actor went on a sabbatical of sorts to pursue other interests.

The actor has no qualms about his first project taking off slow, The process has started & I can wait. I took a break for a reason. I needed to feel creatively satisfied with the kind of work I do & for my own show I want it to strike a cord with the masses the right way. It didn't work out with my writer. I now have a team of 3 writers, one female writer to chalk out my heroine's character & understand the psyche.'

I auditioned almost 500 girls & had shortlisted one but it didn't just connect so we have a new but familiar girl as the lead. Content is the key & I'm now relaxed with 3 writers on board just like the West wherein I draw my majority inspiration from.'

Nonetheless we can't wait to see Mishal act!

We wondered whether his series had been shelved and he replied two days later that his ambitious project was very much on. How are we always in sync, Mishy? 😳 Thank you for finally elaborating on the delay in your web series! 😃 I think this article was due three months ago, but better late than never. 😉 Always had a feeling his intention was to go with a new face. At the end of the day, it would've been the more economical choice. 😊 He auditioned 500 girls for this series! 😲 Hmmm. In the end, he opted for a familiar face. Eishu's free from all filming commitments at the moment. Hmmm. 🤣 🤣 The Misha lover in me is thrilled at the possibilities! Waiting for more hints in your next article, Mishy. ☺️ I hope we'll be able to watch you on our television/computer/tablet/phone screens before the end of this year. We all miss you so much, Mishal! ❤️

I hope so too, Ami! Let's pray that Mishy gets an exciting offer for a daily once he's free from his commitments for this series. 😃 I think he'll be more willing to focus on interesting offers now. 😳

Yep, such an offer that there is no room for him to say no. One more character that will rule the viewers hearts...

I so want Mishal and Jenny to work together on a show, Ami! Jenny is my female Mishal. Together they would write history together. I love Eishu beyond words, but I can't deny that Jenny is a powerhouse performer. 😳

I am looking forward to some amne samne kind of takkar. Again, it all depends on character. We will just have to wait and watch what comes the next.

He would have to pair up with an established actress for that kind of a duel for onscreen dominance. I agree, time will tell what's in store for Mishal as an actor. 😊

I like all of your suggestions, Mish! 😃 If MR's keen on following the YouTube model, then he'll release his episodes every week to two weeks depending on the format of his series. I just hope and pray that he'll keep his international audience in mind when selecting a platform. 😳
