I may be wrong about this entire process, but I believe the whole purpose behind the pilot of a series is to acquire a platform on which the series will be broadcasted. Once the pilot is pitched to a digital platform like Hotstar or Viu, it necessitates ratification for the whole series to be given the green light. This could be why there's been a delay in filming the remaining episodes. 😊

I'm not sure either, Ami! 😕 I know that's how things work in show business on this side of the globe. Gosh, can't imagine investing all that money into the first episode and having it rejected. I'm sure Mishy has restless nights ahead until it's in the clear. I hope it impresses everyone he's pitched his series to in the past couple of months. I think he will divulge more to his fans once he gets the official assent. 😳
