I don't think think there's any questions as to why Rupali chose to call Mishal back to reprise Viplav's character. We all know the show isn't going to last without him. The more obvious question to me is why has Mishal chosen to come back? I don't mean to dampen anyone's spirits here and I know we have many die hard Mishal fans on this forum. This is my humble opinion and I've always felt enough comfort here in sharing my opinions with each of you. Mishal has always struck me as someone who stands firm and tall in his decisions and isn't one to make them out of haste or in a rush. It surprised more than anything else that he chose to come back in less than a week. He left an iconic role like Dutta never to return, so then why IKRS? Why when nothing on this show makes sense anymore? If he was concerned about his reputation, he wouldn't have walked away from his role in regards to a clash over renumeration. I don't want to say anything negative about Mishal because I don't know the facts. I will say that the whole scenario with the leap, the character butchering, the replacements, and the contract extensions is utterly bizarre. Yes, I've listened to his entire interview from start to finish. I don't know if this was a publicity stunt, but it saddens me that not one person has ever thought about us viewers since the inception of this show. Our feelings have never mattered to anyone. This show has become nothing but a tap that goes from hot to cold and back to hot. One day one scenario and the next day another. Will I continue watching for Viplav? Absolutely! I've stuck to the show without Mishal just to see how they'd conclude Viplav's character. Will I watch this show in confusion and a sense of bitterness? Most certainly.
