Should we be disappointed with Mishal & not Viplav???

Hi all,

Our favorite show been giving us jitters for the past few weeks or so...

Yes, we have been terribly disappointed with the route the show has taken.

Many reasons...the makers, PH, Channel, tracks, new characters, TRPs... & what not.

Who can blame us fans for moaning & complaining, but all of the above & more.

Apart from this, I personally am very unhappy with Mishal, the actor, of late.

Mishal as we all know is a great actor, smart & creative, good businessman, veteran of the industry (8+ years)...

Though I am not sure how much of a say he has, I feel he is allowed to contribute some bit to the direction of his character.

With the show going crazy, I am wondering, what does Mishal have to say about his character now? It looks so one dimensional & nothing else to me at this point. The focus of the show & his character has shifted completely to where?...no idea

This is not what he was looking for when he took up the show.

He should have stood his ground, protested...whatever, so his character was not butchered this way.

He does not have to be unprofessional or rude, but still say something.

We saw other actors even quitting the show. Did that not ring a bell to him? Does this not bother him in any way?

He needs to listen to his fans ( after all fans can make or break an actor).

Again I am saying all this based on the assumption that actors do have a say to some extent in the show.

All said & done, lately Mishal, the actor has disappointed me more than Viplav Tripaty, the character

But he can still count me in as his loyal fan forever, since I appreciate his great potential as an actor.

What do you all have to say???

Hey mish,

What did Mishal do?? Why u disappointed with him???

As always he is giving his more than 100% in acting and I can proudly and loudly say he is the only male actor who is dong a strong and commendable role in tv currently

I was disappointed with vipu but after watching episode I felt I am wrong as loosing his love make him more hurt than dhaani or any one

i love mishal.. no complaint against him..

i am ready to hit the writers for butchering viplav's character..

viplav had quit his last show when the character was at the peak of its popularity.. when every girl used to dream of him..

again if he quit another show midway, then many PHs may think that this actor has no patience and he may quit anytime, if he finds the show or the story line boring and not doing well.. they prefer not to work with him

dharam sankat mein hai bechara.. yes u can call me a blind fangirl of mishal.. yes i am and i find everything about him good.. i like what ever he does.. so i will be blaming the writers and not mishal...

i am highly pissed off with IKRS, i am even not liking the recent Vidha romances (which i used to love so much earlier), but still sticking to this show just to have a glimpse of him..

so for me MR is not at fault.. he is disliking the current mega boring twist the show is taking, i am sure but still kaam kar raha hai show mein.. he cant quit the show, storyline is not in his hands, what else can he do??

I am not disappointed with his acting at all. Yes he gives 100% & more ...

But if you read thru' correctly, all I am saying is could he have spoken about the way his character was shaping up?

I still like him a lot as an actor.

I don't think it is as easy as you say. Mishal has gone through similar turmoils in LTL and was criticized and misunderstood heavily for that, and the media leaves no stone unturned to spread the incorrect news and bash the actor. Mishal left LTL because he knew Dutta's character will be ruined.

He has got a chance to perform in a versatile role after 4 years of making us wait. He is more mature and patient now and will not make the same mistake again as before.

The TV industry is mostly ruled by women centric characters, even then the character of Viplav is pretty versatile and has many layers. I am sure CVs will try to improve the character post leap.

Yea Barbie, true what can he do other than giving 100% in acting

Story is not in his hands. He can't leave the show in the middle also as every one know without him no ikrs

I guess even Mishal also not happy with current track and he is not giving IVs lately

He is a great actor who never compromise in acting. That made him unique

I love Mishal too as an actor. Yes, its not his fault , don't want him to quit, but speak up & say something.

I, like you, will continue to watch the show till its end.

As I said, I will still be his fan forever becoz I admire him as a great actor.

Sudha good point...true aaj kal he seems to be lost somewhere ...his character has gone in an unknown direction and I feel Eisha is doing better compared to him...Mishal is no doubt a fabulous actor magar may be as you said he should look into this matter ...aaj kal kyun phika lag rha hain...more than his role I find DT or dhani's role better same is with Kajal as well...pehle jaisi nahi rahi ...their character's are unnecessarily butchered. No offense to MR fans just pointing what I felt.

The big word is " disappointment " to me.

Yes, Mishal is such a versatile actor, he took up the show & this character for that reason only & now look , what's happened to Viplav...as I said it looks one dimensional.

Why did Cvs spoil it in the first place & then trying to improve? Beats me.

I don't know, but feel sorry for him.
