if this is the effect cricket's match analysis can have on ikrs what will happen this week when semi-final match actually started at ikrs timing... top of that sunday episodes...
hope channel also considers all these excuses for the drop...

GEC Watch: ICC World T20 hits pay channels; FTA channels unaffected

All the pay channels lose viewership to the ongoing World T20 games. Zee Anmol returns to the top position among FTA channels in Week 12 of BARC ratings

With more ICC World T20 matches played in Week 12, Hindi general entertainment channels (GECs) faced the heat and all the pay channels lost viewership. However, Star Plus was the only channel with a marginal loss.

Among free to air (FTA) channels, Zee Anmol returned to the top position pushing Sony Pal at No. 2. Except Rishtey, all the FTA channels recorded growth in their viewership despite ongoing ICC World T20 tournament.

According to select data shared by BARC India for Week 12 for Hindi general entertainment channels (March 19 - March 25) {HSM: NCCS All: 4+ Individuals: BARC India base - All India (U+R), Impressions (000s)}, all the GECs maintained their ranks.

Star Plus retained the top position with 710064 Impressions, a marginal decline from last week's 714086 Impressions.

Colors continued to be at No. 2 with 657379 Impressions, a significant decline from 704932 Impressions in Week 11.

Zee TV is at No. 3 with a gross viewership of 613620 Impressions, dropping from last week's 646350.

Life OK is at No. 4 with 468788 Impressions, a decline from last week's 487474.

SAB TV is at No. 5 with a gross viewership of 387634, a marginal decrease from last week's 390053 Impressions.

FTA channels

Zee Anmol has returned to the top position among FTA channels with gross Impressions of 568682. The channel had 498891 Impressions last week.

Sony Pal was pushed to No. 2 despite further growth in viewership. The channel recorded a gross viewership of 520529 Impressions, increase from last week's 533954 Impressions.

Star Utsav is at No. 3 with current numbers at 519207 Impressions, an increase from last week's 492293 Impressions.

DD National stood fourth with a gross viewership of 517653 Impressions.

Rishtey came in at No. 4 with 433109 Impressions, a drop from last week's 450993 Impressions.

Top 5 programmes

As per select data HSM: NCCS All: Prime Time (1800 - 2330 hrs): 4+ Individuals: BARC India base - All India (U+R), both the live matches of ICC World T20 - India vs Pakistan and India vs Bangladesh - were the highest rated shows on DD National with 27212 and 24278 Impressions, respectively.

Colors' Naagin was at No. 3 with 18184 Impressions, down from last week's 20164.

Zee TV's Kumkum Bhagya has clocked 12515 Impressions (last week 14464).

Star Plus' Saath Nibhaana Saathiya was at No. 4 with an average viewership of 11392, down from last week's 12066.

yes channels do consider all this and now with the semifinals and india going thru , it could be a bumpy ride. lets cross it together , we will.

And Akki if I am not wrong colors charges are on higher side. even the five star hotel i was in in calcutta didnot have colors in HD And with the option of subscribing any channel for few days from tata sky(Kangana ranuat advt) i am sure many must be unsubscribing gecs during cricket and festivals.

No worries Rose..!
all these days channel deciding each n every track..I found his role inspiring n unusual from other male leads who cannot be vocalized. I am loving this positive change, That;s the thing I do hope writers sticking to their concept focusing widows too.Still there are many things to display, especially exposure of DT n KT will help them writers to reconnect the opened dots..channel had no more to give liberty in hands of makers then it's difficult to digest half=baked situational sub-plots n tracks..Now I felt story is promised for trp viewers unless makers don't have any intention to deviate their plots
