Viplav came looking for Dhani and much to his relief he does locate her in god's house. A perfect sanctuary for the despised ,rejected and denounced. For here upon this holy ground, generally discrimination is left out. The faith of the devotees gives them spiritual encouragement and healing that they are equal in the eyes of a god.. This is a place where people are granted their own place for mediation and self- evaluation. Silence helps to calm the frayed nerves.. To me the complete scene between Viplav and Dhani is a meeting ,a date.. an informal exchange of views, temperaments ,compatibilities, suitability, likes and dislikes.. and what better rendezvous than holy ground under the watchful eye of devi maa?
He sits by her tired, as he rests his the back of his head against the wall too, like she does. He rolls his head towards her wanting to speak to her about what he went through.
Do you any idea how worried I was? since past few hours, was looking for you searched all of Benaras and you're sitting here. I thought you might.. Dhani talks about her stoic character.. she replies I am not such a coward. that I'd chose death over fighting the odds. Viplav replies , glad to hear that you think this way... she admits ,yes for I know none of this is my fault. .and this too I know that wherever you are, troubles are sure to follow. He throws his head down and confesses , Dhani, I came to say sorry to you.. because of my engagement breaking ,everyone at home is very stressed , most of all my mother.. she was very anxious and furious. She couldn't contain her fury when she saw you.. so she acted the way she did. I have come here to apologize on her behalf.. please forgive her.. he says . Dhani looks at his dejected face and then gets up and walks away from him. Viplav follows her and continues , I confess that you all are aggrieved on account of me ,that's why I came here asking for your pardon. She walks away and yells her name Dhani ! and then stands before her at the top of the mandir steps and begs, please forgive me.. she is at ease to moan at him.. tell him exactly what she thinks of him.. she is brashly informal in her words all her sense of being blamed comes out and she lashes out..and tersely she replies, there's no need for you to apologize on behalf of your mother! because it's not her, who's at fault , it's you! I consider you the wrong doer! you create all the troubles, tell me do you enjoy making trouble? time and again you cross my path! you broke off the engagement with Tania! and I get the blame !what was my fault in all this? you should have let me die! why did you save me ? so I could hear all this? at least someone's engagement wouldn't have broken !viplav hears her accusations and growls back ,you think I am some sort of a coward? who'd leave you there to die? you think It's some kind of joke? well it's not easy ! she retorts, no I don't think it's a joke .. it's you for whom everything is a jest! It makes no difference to you that for your mistake ,I am having to pay! and she goes past him down the steps and he yells behind her , hey! I only joke sometimes to lessen your burdens! she stops and confronts him, and why would you do such a thing? do I look like a machine you activate at the press of a button when you want? it shouldn't matter to you whether I laugh or cry! she says to distance herself from him. Viplav reminds her ,your problem is, you have still got that incident imbedded in your brain! forget about it! I admit I made a mistake put liquor in your pot! But I am trying my hardest to correct my wrong doing! many times have I said sorry to you! supported you by fighting this case! but it makes no difference to you! you can't see it! till you don't get rid of these old sores you won't be able to smile and remain happy! try for once to expel the filth from your mind! and you'll see the beauty of life. tells him how she perceives him and his manners.. flippant and easy going, she draws Dhani replies calmly.. how easy life is for you.. because you see life through a self- centred vision. for you, bandage a wound and it's healed! Problem sorted ! life is not a child's play. For in life some wounds are such, that never heal , they fester inside smarting slowly for the rest of one's life.. Dhani refers here to deep emotional scarring.. for such a person to say sorry is dead easy who doesn't realize that the hurt he has given to another can never be reverted.. so just forget it! your saying sorry is not to give me back my honour and self -respect that was snatched from me before the whole world! you can't even imagine the sorts of things people say about us.. people think I am at fault , your mother must be thinking that it was me who called you to the mandir. Tania must be holding me responsible for the breaking of the engagement. Viplav yells, for heaven's sake why would you be responsible for breaking the engagement. It's was between me and Tania! And Dhani interrupts , I know , but in that too, you are responsible! Because everyone will think I am to blame! Viplav yells, look Dhani you have nothing to do with it! I already told Tania about what happened that night. She understood it too. But Dhani retorts ,whatever happened that night shouldn't have happened with me! because of that every one at the ashram now hangs their head in shame... can't show their faces anywhere.. without any fault of their's . you are not even aware, that we are not only widows but ordinary common folks ,who wish to lead a simple ordinary life. That night what ever happened , only you are the only one who knows the whole truth ... and she gets to the bottom of the steps and Viplav stops here, Dhani I can understand your pain.. what you go through.. that's what made me look for you throughout Benaras. I thought how you would be able to contain yourself after what happened? she faces him , why? did you think I'd be flustered enough to end my own life.? if that's what you thought ,then think again!.. Viplav looks at her tenderly as she explains.. I came and sat here because I didn't want to go to the ashram in such a state, I didn't want them to see me like this.. every day we fight poverty ,so we can hold our head high! I didn't want them to see me as weak ,and then in turn become weak too... that's why I came and sat in the mandir
Pointing out the difference in their social status and class..but then you won't understand as you are the great Dashrant Tirpathi's grandson.. whose born with a silver spoon! Whose every wish is fulfilled before it's uttered! You create a problem and someone else solves it! take a look at that day..it was your mistake but it was your dada ji who came to apologize on your behalf! so that you don't bear the brunt , remain happy and stress free! other people's sorrow and problems don't matter to you in the least bit! you don't even recognize the meaning of pain and sorrow.
You can't begin to imagine how we exist.. how much people denounce and discriminate against us...no one treats us with respect! how we protect our identities.. how we maintain our self-respect! ..ok you want to do something for me? then promise me today ,that from now on you will never make fun of a woman! and make another promise ,that you will move out of my way forever .. I beg of you with folded hands ,and for the love of god never cross paths with me again.. Dhani begs Viplav... in her lectures to him ,she talks about her personal life too.. I suspect Viplav leaves her feeling a lot more closer to her.. # Viplav not once was called a rakhsas!!
Before Tejaswani left she cursed dhasrant 's household in strong words .. it seems that the walls have began to shake, beginning with young Viplav who despite Dashrant's desire to cast him in his own mould, is swiftly changing shape and assuming a form which is not quite like dashrant's.. and now this almost near shock visit from shalu's fiance.. Ram visits Dashrant's house, with some official looking men with briefcases. Ram clarifies he 's on official business and for the very first time explained his job was that of taxman. His visit here is not to offend, as what he wishes to carry out are under his job description. This seemingly throws Dashrant obviously wasn't aware of that. Cleverly he dismisses His wife, Shambu, Kanak from the room. Ram without wasting time asks .. for the receipts of all the gold that shalu was weighed against the other day.. Dashrant on the double gave the plausible excuse that would give him tax exemption ,he said the gold was tokn of gifts that were given to him by his devotee as a mark of devotion as such there are no receipts and records retained. Ram was already prepared to shoot his net arrow and he asks for the in come tax returns papers for the mandirs that Dashrant ran and carried on making money making by them . Ram explains it part of his job to check every one's income tax returns. As expected ,Dashrant didn't have the papers at hand and thus Ram, grants him time till the following day when he would return to check on paper what taxes have been paid by Dashrant.. Ram says don't mind him as he's only doing his job and that he liked shalini and was happy to marry her.. but before that he have to fill in the tax returns of the mandir and present it before the boss.. Dashrant is shaken but then he recalls that the papers are all in Viplav's name. he considers that if there is misappropriation and tax evasion then it'll be Viplav's neck on the line! He muses surely he cannot let that happen .even if it means calling off Shahlini's wedding with Ram..
Another underdog continues to fuel his revenge against not only Dashrant but against the sharp tongued Kanak.. Tripurari does press ups to release the stress that Kanak had caused him by humiliating his mother in the market square. He nurtures his hatred against Kanak and awaits the right moment to strike yet another blow at this most loathed family ,that robbed him and mother of their rights in dashrants empire of greed, power and deceit. Tripurari receives Suvarna's call who asks him if you he knew where Dhani was as she hasn't returned home yet.. and says he didn't know where Dhani was.?
The lawyer protects his client.. apart from this they both look like a boy and girl meeting for a chit chat.. no wonder Dulari lost the plot.. waise they looked like a couple.. At the foot of the temple .. Dhani Viplav face each other talking.. Dulari and the rest of the widows come from the side of the temple and Dulari gives a shrilly scream Dhani!! .. Dhani gets nervous oh gawwd!! where did mum come from?? and Viplav stands before her like a hero! stay quiet I'll explain! Dulari marches on towards her daughter and screams #/.;], there you are hiding !! we were looking for you all over the place!! and she pulls Dhani by the arms roughly and Viplav yells what are you doing kaki? and Dhani gets slapped on the head by her furious mother! other widows tried to shield poor Dhani from her mother's blows ! now at this point I forgot gods house reverence and yelled lotcha!! wicked! and Viplav protests , kaki let me explain ! and Dhani yells at him , no need to poke your nose in our personal affairs! and go way from here! Inderani turns to him angrily and says, only you are responsible for all this! and dhani gets thumped and slapped by Dulari and then Dulari stops!! and they stand in in file across Viplav who yells.. go ahead hit her! why have you stopped ? here shall I'll give you a stone? they all stop and look at his commanding face .. he yells took you out of such big crisis! and here you are bickering amongst each other? Lala will erect a building in place of your asahrm so you won't be staying there so what stigma are you talking about? for goodness sake what kind of mothers are you? believing in a newspaper? don't you trust your daughter? you don't even trust your own lawyer! the newspaper said in big bold letters, a boy saved a girl from drowning! They are stunned into silence and he roars, but you all had decided before hand that you will uphold the lie !you people should comfort her support her, trust her instead of picking on her.. and he glares at Dhani ,and Dhani it's your fault as well ! you claim to strong and fearless ! now where is your strength? open your mouth and tell them none of this is our fault! I was only trying to save you from drowning ,why won't you tell them? tell them the truth! he encouraged her. Inderani says if you repeat a lie more often it becomes a truth! and who are you to tell Dhani anyway way that she should tell everyone what is the truth!? when her mother's asking her a question! then why are you telling Dhani to tell the truth?.. Viplav and Dhani are destined to be together .. they both speak the truth, not half, quarter ,a bit but nothing but the truth.
Things are not what they seem.. Kanak comes out with her tweaked truth.. speaks part truth.. when she wants she tells her FIL she didn't tell him, Viplav has gone somewhere and is not answering his phone.. she says she's concerned, so would he ring and find out for her.. but Dashrant is concerned about what untruth he will have to show Ram the following day..then Kanak as casually as possible says hope he hasn't gone yet again to seek pardon from those widows! Dashrant flinches. She asks slyly where are newspapers published.. as since the paper was published.. the whole city is maligning us.. she is worried the news would spread like wild fire. They will have to be stopped from further printing.. but Dashrant is preoccupied with the thought .. what was the need for Viplav to apologize now? what has happened he asks kanak.. and she puts on her cute baby doll act.. and confesses sweetly and innocently , babu ji due to Viplav's engagement breakup.. I said something to that widow... seems Viplav has gone to apologize for that maybe? The truth is she refused to apologize so he went on her behalf.. Kanak further adds innocently, don't know how Viplav got to know about it in the first place? another half truth , she saw the video.. and Dashrant listens and then replies benignly look dil..in future before doing anything of this nature, don't forget to consult beforehand so there is no room for complain.. and Kanak turns Dashrant against tripurai .. no Viplav would never have found out.. it seems Tripurari 's doing.. he's like a bull ! eats all day ,is slothful sits around all day doing nothing! previously she insulted Durga his mother ,now she badmouthing the son ! Dashrant says he'll sort him out later.. then Kanak slyly asks which papers was Ram after? I didn't quite understand .. tell me? and he dismisses her , by saying he needed to spend time on his own..
Viplav with widows outside the temple appeals to Inderani.. maa ji you seem the sensible one amongst all.. therefore I ask you.. don't you see any truth in any of these things I have said? If you do, then walk with this truth.. I am positive your faith does not profess that you proceed with believing in a lie? and if it does ,then it's wrong.. time has come now for you to abandon this lie.. and Inderani tells him their truth that we widows have nothing to go by except our self-respect.. and when that self- respect was attacked by mud slinging ,we all became enraged! and looking for her we ended up here! Viplav says, look I ask all of you.. what can I do to remove this black mark from your minds? I will go to any lengths , you just tell me what I need to do? Inderani replies , this society will not accept Dhani as innocent, till your mother doesn't give Dhani a public apology before everybody in the market! like your mother humiliated Dhani before every body! and that's all that we want! states Inderani because this is the only way left to retrieve Dhani's self respect!..
Overall a great episode.. it's Dhani all the way.. Eisha is doing a fine job .. she is giving Dhani a personality.. turning her into a real person.. Ram's entry was a much needed surprise and Inderani's demand for Dhani's tampered izzat to be retrieved,, is kudos.. it's really what Viplav suggested to his maa ,all along.. Hamlet53 25.9.15
Precap: Viplav tells dadi I went to meet Dhani. She says I told you ,you shouldn't have gone there.. Viplav says, I went to fix things dadi. Kanak interrupts , and did you fix them then?and he replies, I did what I could ,mother.. so now I want that you should apologize to Dhani before every one.. Kanak retorts.. never mind apologising ,I find even looking upon her as demeaning! and Viplav replies.. so you won't apologize to her? and Kanak replies vehemently , no never! .. Viplav is seen wheeling his luggage trolley out of his home... his dadi blocks his way ,where are you going with your baggage and he announces.. I am leaving this house!
