|| Krishna in Vrinadavan ||

One of my favourites from the movie.

It's night, the village had entered a deep slumber, while the wolves shout in a distance. A mother urges her husband to go in, but in vain. Soon the wolves come and kill a calf (sorry, that scene got deleted) and carry the baby away. Yashoda shudders in fear when the helpless screams of the poor mother reaches her. She rushes to check on Kanha, who is supposedly fast asleep. She goes near and removes the cover, only to realize that Kanha is gone. The scene shifts to Kanha chasing the wolf which carried the baby. Soon he catches up, kills a wolf and is busy playing with the infant as the villagers reach the scene.

|| Seeta - the movie ||

An extremely beautiful and rare (so rare that I consider myself lucky to even have just the first half of this movie) movie. It had a number of distortions but their presentation and songs were brilliant. Here you will also see the typical village life and culture of undivided Bengal.
The pictures below are from the title song of the movie, "Bharat-er punya maatite". It presents the Ramayan till Ravan Vadh in a nutshell. Yes, but they had a lot of errors in sequence of the events.

Kaushalya is overjoyed to see her sons and her daughter-in-law. She asks Urmila, Shrutakeeti and Mandavi to take Seeta and adorn her like a queen of queens. This is one of the sweet and most photogenic scenes of the movie. I'll try to post the lyrics of the song soon.
The song is called, "Kotodin Shaajoni Eso Tomake Shaajai"

Raam and Seeta enjoy the Diwali celebrations. When they are done with that, they move inside. Raam delicately takes Seeta's hand and asks her, "You had so much to do at Panchavati- gathering flowers, playing with deer and all. What will you do now? You aren't a vanavaasini anymore!" Seeta replies, "I will take care of my family. You are the King, and I am your Queen. You will rule your subjects, and I'll take care of them. After all, I am their mother! I'll make sure every one of them have a smile on their face!

|| Seeta - the movie ||

Seeta is going towards the palace temple where Kaushalya awaits her. On the way she meet her three dewars who sweetly fight with each other as to who shall touch her feet first. Seeta pulls Lakshman's ear and tells them to concentrate in their daily jobs. As soon as she settles down with Kaushalya maa, Sumitra maa calls her. The scene shifts to Urmila and she rushing into a chamber. Seeta says that after fourteen long years of separation, Lakshman might be adoring her like anything at present. Urmila pretends to be cross with her and says that Lakshman has not the time for her as he is busy in worshipping his 'pyaari bhabhi'. Seeta turns grave and says, "He worships you as well. The only difference being that no one know about this Goddess residing in his heart!" Both the sisters laugh on this while Shrutakeerti and Mandavi come to tell them that the Raajyabhishek of Raam has started.
