Oh really? That's a good idea! When lifeok had stopped uploading full episodes, I had stopped watching. It would have been a good idea if I'd read the written updates. But it's not the same as watching, so idk, I just let myself fall behind. But now I'm watching the webisodes. Yes, they're short, but they're in HD! The snaps I take come out so clear!
Aaargh, don't get me going! It's one thing bashing actors for replacing each other, but to bring the Gods and Goddesses into it is too much.😡 Many of those immature fans in the Dkdm forum know nothing about Shiva Purana. They themselves said so, claiming that everything they now know about Shivji is from the show. They consider Dkdm to be something like IPKKND or GHSP, where they can comment on the characters without any limits. Some wanted really passionate scenes between Sati and Shivji, and I was like WTH!! These are Gods they're talking about, not ArHi or Maneet.😲 These are the same fans who bashed Sonarika without even seeing her, and they were so prejudiced when she did start to act that all they could do was criticize. That's why I don't like that forum all that much. It does not have the pure, mature aura that Ramayan forum and JSK forum had in their golden days. People in those forums were sooo much more mature and knowledged.
OMG, yes! That was the most annoying part! The fact that they took DKDM as their only source of knowledge! Mythological shows are good to watch if you just want the gist of it and want the mythological kathas you know visualized and presented to you, but are not always reliable on how they show certain stories. Really, some people can be so ignorant!
And I think the problem here was that Mouni and Mohit are both tellywood stars. Gurmeet, Debina, Meghan, and Kritika had no big fan followings prior to their respective roles in JSK and ASR. But Mouni's and Mohit's fans from their previous shows, more concerned about their favorite actor rather than the mytho show, have continued their fangiri in the DKDM forum.
Was the Ganga track good? But...it's kind of confusing and doesn't really follow the timeline, does it? During the Sati phase they showed Sati testing Ramji, which meant Ramayan was happening at that time, right? Now...they are showing the story of Bhagirath which happened several hundreds of years before Ramji!😲 Did anyone notice this huge blooper in the forum?
I'm not sure about it since I haven't gotten there yet. I'm still at the part where Parvati is doing her penances. But since I was kind of dissatisfied with the actress who portrayed Ganga, I doubt I will like it. I mean, she is no Reena Kapoor (JGM's Ganga). You know, Reena Kapoor is quite young, young enough to be Ganga! She was only a teenager when she worked for Ramanand Sagar.
Oh, and well, you're sort of right about the time period glitch. This is what happened. Sati finds Mahadev meditating and asks who is so lucky as to have Mahadev's attention all the time. Mahadev tells her that it is Vishnu and that at all times, he is meditating on his divine forms and all of his ten avatars. And upon Sati's insisting, he shows her Shri Raam's avatar (which he does mention is yet to happen.)
Sati starts to question Vishnu because she sees Raam wandering through the forest and crying out Sita's name, saddened like a normal human would be. She uses her shakti to transport herself through time and go to Raamji.
So, yes, they did include time travel, but the technical timeline is going by pretty accurately. And I talked to Lola di about this, and she said that in the Raam Charitramanas, they say it's Sati who tests Raam, so the creatives might have added the time travel thing just for it to make sense. Although, what I think is (and Lola di also agreed this might be true) is that the Raam Charitramanas uses Sati as a synonym for Parvati, but it's Parvati who tested Raamji, not Sati. DKDM just interpreted it differently.

You know, I keep saying I'll give you all these requests, but I never get any ideas.😆 But I think I may request a sig from the He Praneshwar Vida scene from SK...not exactly in this style since it might not work out, but whatever style you want. Let me see if the pic links still work, or else I'll take them again from my DVD set.
OMG! That would actually look nice! I created the coloring so as to highlight pinks and reds. That might really work well with the pink in Shweta's dress in that scene!
