replies coming in a bit. But let me just post this siggy here. I was so excited when they showed this scene cuz I had actually been to the temple of Tukaai when I was little!

Here's a short explanation.

When Parvati/Sati came down to earth to test Shri Raam's divinity, she took the form of Sitaji and sat meditating in the forests of what is now Tuljapur, Maharastra. Shri Raam saw her, came over to her, and asked, "Tu Ka Aai?"

That literally means "Is that you, mother?"

Today there is a temple there and the deity is named Tukaai, since Shri Ramchandra himself had given her that name.

Aww, nice sig Aishu! I heard of this story when I read Ramesh Menon's adaptation of Ramayan, it was really sweet and showed proof of Shri Ram's eka patnivrat.😳 Even if another woman came in the form of Sita, he would not be fooled. But I have a question. Isn't Goddess Bhavani considered to be Shri Vishnu's sister? Why does he then address her as mother? Is it because Shri Ram is the avatar of Vishnuji and the Goddess is thus his mother?
Btw, could you make two sigs just like this with Mouni as Sati, but using RSR pics of Ram, Sita, Lakhan and ASR pics of Ram, Sita, Lakhan? DkDM could have done a better job choosing actors for Ram and Lakshman, though they were 5-min characters, lol.😳

@Lola di! Yeah! You're finally here! OMG! And those siggies you've posted are just so darn gorgeous!

I love the satin like look of the first one! It's spectacular! Especially with the big Siya Ram text. However, I'll have to say that the Mandodari and Ravan one is one of your best! The text is so dynamic, just like the coloring and the choice and placement of the pictures. And I love how you made the key words blue! Also lovin' the DKDM stuff! Those avis are to die for!

@Proteeti, yeah! Your first avi! Great job hun! It's very cute!

@Gunia, omg! My dear! Your newest siggies are simply superb! I absolutely love the Ganga Dashmi siggs you've made! What a great way to incorporate the two shows together! Gosh, I wish that we had a better actress playing Ganga in our DKDM. It would have been awesome if they brought back Reena Kapoor from Jai Ganga Maiya!

Oh, and this new style if siggy making is gorgeous! I love it! The ripped edges and the bokeh make such a good combo! Brilliant hun! http://i.minus.com/iTYSkmtc3aquD.png

@Janaki di!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG! What can I say about you? Your work is absolutely stunning and it's so amazing how you can make so many siggs in so little time and how each and every single one of them turns out so professional! I applaud you!

I love this new style of yours! It's magnificent! The super bright coloring with the font you chose! Awesomeness! It has an almost retro feel to it!

And this is so storybook-fairytale like and so perfect! Really prettiful!

But the ones I love the most will have to be my two JSK siggs! They're just so perfect and beautiful!

Also love your new style of avis! The text texture that you've used on the ASR one and the one you're using is A M A Z I N G !

And you made all of those Gurumina siggs from just one pic? DUDE! You're a freakin' genius! WOW!
Each siggy is absolutely stunning! I especially adore the animated one! Al;skfjal;skfjal;skdfj you're the best. The end.

@Varnita! OMG! That's such a pretty sigg! I love the red in it! Very beautiful!

Thank you so much di! I'm so glad you liked it!

Well, I assume he called her mother because she is the wife of his Lord, Lord Shiva. I've read somewhere in a religious website that according to the Sanatana Dharma, there are seven kinds of mothers, one of which is the wife of a guru/swami/lord. It's the same reason why Nandi refers to her as Mataa.

And idk. I really really like the Raam in DKDM. He's the same guy who plays Vishnu. But Lakshmi/Sita, yes, I do believe they could have chosen a better actress to portray her. Nothing against the actress who plays her now, but still. And sure! I'll make that combo sigg! I don't have the psd of this sigg saved, but I do have the coloring psd and textures.

Yes, that makes sense...anyway, the divine mother is said to be the mother for all, even Brahma Vishnu Mahesh.😊
As Vishnu I feel he's fine, but in the Ram getup I thought he looked a bit weird...a bit too skinny in my opinion, and his jaata was askew as if done in a hurry. And even as Vishnu, I think his voice is nice and his looks are also nice, but to me he seems a bit expressionless, especially in the scene when Sati immolated herself. He didn't really show much expression though his speech was emotional. But yes, the actress who plays Lakshmi doesn't really suit the role...she looks older that Vishnu and doesn't have the "Ma Shakti" aura to her like Mouni Roy as Sati does.
Thanks in advance for the sigs, can't wait to see them! Btw, did you get my PM about the Vedavati pics?

OMG! Really? I actually really like the guy. He looks so Vishnu-like. He has just the face for it. And as for Raam, he wasn't that bad. The way he spoke of Rameshwar was so endearing. You could really hear the bhakti in his voice. It was so sincere! But I think they made him show less emotion while Sati burned herself because well, it was the same for Bramhaji and everyone else. They all looked more appalled than horrified. So maybe it's only because of what the directors told them?
And do you remember the old Lakshmi? Falaq Naz? They showed her for the first few episodes, but then she was replaced. Well anyways, I think she suited the role far better than this gal. But I'm very satisfied with the actress they chose for Saraswatiji.

And here's the Vedavati sigg. You so SHOULD NOT have asked me to come up with the texts
I SUCK at texts, and you know it!

anyways, here's what I wrote for this one: "the curse of a chaste woman rages more fiercely than a wildfire."
Come up with a different one soon so I can replace this!

Oh, and there are two versions of them. I kind of liked the yellow text, but it's not exactly what you asked for, so I posted the original as well.
