India Idols At ustadooon ke ustaad - Page 2

I feel amit was really good with his performance...toshi n sumitra were too good..toshi deserved more than 5 from javed akhtar...

Raja was good with his first performace..dard e disco he was nowhere...

mauli..i didnt like her first song selection at al..kitna rap kiya usne😆

I still think that of all the performances in ustadon ka ustaad nobody outperformed another ....like I found sumitra horrible yet judges gave her good marks 😕 ....

If one in the team did better than the other , same happened with the other team too ....SRGMP was much much better than II when the season ended but the q lies ..do they sustain it????...I think Himani was not even 30% of what she was ....i was surprised to listen to Raja ....

yesterday , in jo jeeta wohi superstar except Toshi and Prajakta ...nobody was good ...and in my opinion I think praju's perf was flawless although I loved Toshi's omkara too !!!!!!

But yes..if u talk about Li'l champs and the recent chhote ustaads ..all these adult singers should take a tip or 2 ....

Bottomline ..when the contests r over and we watch them after several months .....everybody sounds worse ...and in that scenario i can say Idol singers r no less than other singers😉 ......when the show goes on SRGMP and VOI singers may be collectively better than Idol singers ...but when the contest is over and when I hear them now ..I find they r unees bees ... If there is one Toshi in VOI then there is one prajakta in Idol too...and the credit lies to the particular singer who has kept his/her ryaz and tried to improve.... not to the show !!!!!!!!

abhijeet, amit ,Karunya ..all got movie offers ....Monali's zara zara from Race is chartbusters for few months ....I don't want to talk about II 3 though😆😆😆

that's true 😆...but i never watched them perform ...I got hooked on to II1 more towards the end mainly because of rahul V, amit, aditi and Praju and later started liking Abhijeet too .....waiting for today's Jo jeeta ......😃

By the way ..Ravinder Ravi is soo bad😆 ...Yesterday I couldn't sit thru' his whole perf during jo jeeta😆 😆

Yup he was horrible.

The problem with most of these reality show singers is lack of riyaaz. Once they get fame and couple of stage shows, they are more into appearances and hair highlights and concentrate on dances as most songs in these stage shows are pre-recorded so they lip-sync and dance.

I was surprised to hear Raja on the first day of Ustaadon Ke Ustaad not up to the mark in his trademark song. His lack of riyaaz showed. He is capable of much more. Second day was much better but we have seen how capable he is in Srgmp 2007.

Mauli chose a bad song on the first day otherwise she was always more of a performer than a singer and she performed the way it was expected. She should have sung her Maiyya Maiyya.

I have never heard Toshi or Sumitra before. Toshi was defineitly good but he adds unnecessary murkiyaan and takes the essence of the song. He is a good singer but he should stop these unnecessary additions.

Sumitra was very bad. I think compared to Mauli judges were just impressed with her Indian looks and attire otherwise she was very bad. Worst than Mauli. Her Maiyya Maiyya rendition was one of the worst I have heard.

Emon was very bad. I am sure he isn't doing any riyaaz or concentrating on singing. He was bad tied with Sumitra among all these singers.

Amit was the best on the first day. The thing with Amit is he retains the essence of the song and tries only such songs in which he has the command. Looks like among these singers he is the only one who hasn't learned music but he surely makes up for it by regular riyaaz. He has sung the title song of Love story 2005 and hope he does well in life. He has an original, soothing voice.

I was rooting for Amit or Raja for finale and glad that one of them won. I was put off by Toshi going overboard otherwise he was really good.

Ya Maya ..I agree ..I felt the lack of ryaaz among the participants a lot .....I like JA's comments on singing ( although he irritates me with his expert comment on dancing and am glad that Saroj ji has put him in his place 👏 👏 )...

What I like about Amit is he still gives that soothing effect to my ears when he sings ....he reminds me of"slow and steady wins the race "...JA rightly said to Amit that "u may not be classically trained but ur voice is naturally good and suits every genre and u r not like some who r comfortable with a typical genre and don't sound good when they sing romantic soft numbers ....playback singing ke liye aap jaisi awaaz bahut zaroori hai when he was saying this the camera was showing Toshi's face ...lol....

So yes ....harkate karna achha hai lekin don't go overboard just to pull crowd ...and then sing the actual song besura in places .....Raja's breathing problem is still evident !!!!!!

Akela hi sahi..fir bhi main kahungi Amit is the consistent of the lot !!!!!!!!!!!!! 😛 😃 👏

My only question to sony is

you did all comedy ke ustaad on weneasday ..but how one comdeian ..got appered on thursday episode where singer were participating 😆
