Music is definitely people connector...but it does not mean we should just keep voting and waste our hard earned money....we voted when II was going on...but even though we do not get deserving winner at any moment...so why to waste money.....anyways ..we will vote in II-4 now...

I dont know if Abijeet was let down by India since they said the votes for each representative from their country was about the same. And since the format was that people had to vote for 2 contestants, i think quite a few of the votes went to Hady.

First of all, out of the countries taking part, there were 2 who were malay/bahasa indonesia speaking, these sound similar at times. So people in Malaysia and Indonesia would probaly have the option to casts another vote for another malay singing idol. The choices were between the indonesian idol, Hady, and the malaysian idol. Frankly speaking, teenage girls go for looks and they would probably have given their votes to Hady. Then the vietnamese judge told Hady that his song sounded like those vietnamese songs. So vietnamese viewers could also have identified with his malay song and voted for him. Last of all, i think he was the only one who sang a rock song, so people who didnt like the whole sentimental song thing would probably have voted for him as well.

Abijeet didnt really stand a chance especially since he sang Junoon. If he had sang one of those popular hindi numbers from those hit hindi movies, he could have gotten in more votes.
