Here's why-

EMON didn't have CMs rooting for him...EMON didn't have rallies being taken out for him because of the place he hailed from..EMON didn't have people voting for him using Tax payers money..

He got to no. 3 because of true merit. and because he had truly won the hearts of the common people.. So for me he is the true Idol...

Like he said, hey may not be Sony's Idol, but I'm confident that one day he really will be an idol for the masses!

All Emon Fans, we can take heart in the fact though EMON didn't get the title, we atleast discovered him through the program. And in the years to come I am sure we shall hear more of the young guy...

Congrats to Prasant and Amit too... they also did us all proud..

Exactly Emon did not have extraordinary regional support. He came till the top 3 based on pure talent. And he seems to have gained most out of the show with 2 playback offers.

I believe that the Anu Mallik soundtrack he's doing will be for a movie called Don Muttuswamy

I don't think anyone has heard much about his offer from Pritam
