My respect for Javed was on decline for sometime and now his current, unfair burst on Emon (as per promos) has slowly led me to dislike this person. Afterall he is not that honest, upright, just, balanced judge afterall. His knowledge of music was always dubious. But he was uphelp by people solely due to want of better judge. Anu, Alisha and Udit all failed miserably to give good judgement and Javed looked like a stoic mountain infront of sandy pebbles. His old age, his reputation, intelligence , command over language captivated masses. But that slowly started corroding his judgements. He started taking people for granted. He started showing alarming signs of disrespect towards his fellow judges. His comment to Alisha to stop giggling infront of camera was not in good taste. If he was so concerned , he could have advised off the camera. He started crossing the fine line with almost everyone. He even started commenting on other judge's opinions. The remaing judges kept respectful silence is a big credit to them.

His Jekyll side is sadly showing up and making him manipulative, biased and cunning up person to play favours. A BIG questionmark always hovered over his ability to understand music, sur and taal and knowledge of the same. Being a lyricist does not qualify. He is no judge of performance or music. When Udit mildly criticised Amit, Javed pounced on him and unnecessarily advised him to keep a big heart. and what about you Mr Javed ? Why you made unjust remarks on Emon.. Pls follow before you preach.

I am not fan of Emon. I am only upset with this whole issue. Its time people keep thinking by themselves rather than follwoing so called judges' bafoonery. Javed has committed lotsof serious follies on this show. Frankly he is not fit to be a judge and I hope there wont be any copycats of him.

Come off the perch Javed.

i know him as a judge from Fame Gurukul days and he was biased that time also

even thou he supported a good singer that time , but i could make out that he could not rise above his personal preference and did justice to the judge seat

but this time he has chosen a wrong contender and thats his blunder 😆 😆 😆
but one thing for sure he is a feminist

I completly agree . When Uditji says something (which nowadays I completely agree , hes trying to cme out of his shell) all the judges pounce on him especially Javedji . This is wat happens to a judge who is sober and nice like Uditji . Javed Aktar always from the beginning kept mocking Uditji , but I wonder why nobody ever said anything or mocked Javedji !!! Its because he cant take it well !!! A person who mocks or passes jokes on other should be able to welcome it well , only then does he have a right to make a joke on others !!

Even I found it bad when he said alisha should stop giggling in front of camera . The way he said it did not sound like a joke n no wonder Alisha did not like it either .

ok now about Emon , why does Javedji keep telling he's imitating sonu !! Emon very well knows that the world will think so and will never do it !!! Infact his voice does resemble sonu's to some extent and hence when he sings it possible that it might sound like sonu's . But Emon is not trying to sing like sonu !!!! Javedji is loosing the admiration people have for him .

the alisha thing...well, i agree with him on that one, and i'm glad he spoke out. it's HIGHLY annoying to hear alisha dissolve into one of her giggling fits. infact, when it's time for her to comment, i gear up for a stream of giggles punctuated by a few words. she has improved after javed akhter pointed that out, so i think he did the right thing.

as for emon's comments, i sometimes wonder if the producers ask the judges to give out such ruthless comments to the participants. now that the competition is down to 4, they have to come up with something to keep the show high on the drama quotient.

The thread starter is so right....

And no matter how much Alisha 'giggles'...JA of all people should be careful of the words he chooses when describing a fellow judge...he talks about respect to women...but look at the way he spoke to and of Alisha on national TV...

He humiliates Udit N. on almost everything Udit says..

He licks upto Anu M...for no apparent reason...

And then...abt his biases towards and against contestants...the least said the better...Emon is probably the only contestant on this show who's sang different kinds of songs from Nusrat Fateh Ali to Kishore Kumar to Udit Narayan and Sonu Nigam....and today..after 4 months....JA suddenly finds Emon 'intentionaly' copying Sonu?? The same man who had told Emon that there was a freshness in his voice in the auditions rounds...finds him a Sonu copy??

I heard Alisha's quitting...I think JA should be made to quit...

He is a shame!
