So many playback singers Kunal Ganjawala, Sunidhi Chauhan, Shreya Ghoshal, Abhijeet Sawant, participated in Music Talent hunts and THEY DID NOT WIN. But since they had the voice, they made it big and are makign good money.

So, let's just enjoy the show as viewers and if a contestant is good enough then they will get recognition regardless of who wins or loses!

I should tell you that Sunidhi, Shreya and Abhijeet won. It is because Shreya and Sunidhi won, that they got recognized. Same goes for Abhijeet. It takes a talented person longer, infact much longer to establish himself/herself if they do not win. Karunya is the only exception. Amey who was a brilliant singer did not get immediate playback singing offers. Had he to win, it would have been a different story.

This is why I always stress on supporting really talented people who have the potential to become playback singers and just need to be groomed further which can be done by music directors. Naresh Iyer had the potential, Rahman groomed him and he won the national award this year. If we support a pop singer, it will neither benefit the winner who will vanish after about 2 or 3 years, but if we support a playback singer we will hear that someone for years to come. So you decide.

Who wants to listen all these ? I will prefer listening Kishor Da or Mohd. Rafi or Lata again and again. At least they did not come thro' any competition.

This talent shows have become money show only.

In fact my room mate sings much better than Indian Idol singers.
