I am not an Ankita fan however I don't hate her either. Here is my analysis of the female contestants of II3 - I would try not be biased but forgive me if I am.
Smitha - she had a great mature voice with good classical base. She couldn't connect with audience after she talked about her looks hence she got out. She would have gone far ahead if she hasn't talked about it I guess and carried forward a pleasant demeanor.
Richa - She came out as an immature girl even though she was a fabulous singer, her accent and way of talking was a bit childish and as on Indian Idol contestants are given a lot of opprtunity to present their personality as compared to singing, she lost the game. People also started to find his singing immature because of her personality.
Pooja - Again a very good singer with solid classical base. She was marvellous in emoting her songs however she didn't have the voice quality which could attract masses if you leave her fans aside for a time being. So people wjo were looking for a more pleasant voice turned to Deepali. Again she couldn't connect that well with people to vote enough for it. I think if II3 would have given more opprtunities for singing rather than presenting themselves, Pooja would have gone far ahead, she had the personality, got a great voice with good classical base.
Deepali - A very beatiuful voice and the best female singer of IDOL in my opinion however her personality was blend. Pooja and Deepali were very close together and at par. They got out because of the distribution of fan base between them.
Ankita - I'll be repeating what people said earlier, tremendous stage presence, X factor, fighter attitude. She just comes across as a winner almost all the time without worrying about whether she'll win or lose. The only time I found her to be shaky when Parleen got out. Other than that she is a winner in making. She never shared her fanbase with anyone and that worked in her favor. She has that spirit to work hard, to leave a mark to prove herself. So whether she'll lose or win this competition, she will go a long way.
