Whats wrong if he said he wanted Ankita to leave.He was HONEST and way are you people bashing someone who is Honest??????Plus lets not forget there are only few contestants left,so whose name did you expect him to say?

ya he is a grt singer n a gud guy but most ppl will conveniently 4get that n just talk abt him sayin he wants ankita out...
he has always been helpful...even rashmi one of the top 28 contestants said that he used to help harshida out with her pronounciations....
hope this thing comes out n is enuff to negate this controversial (n cleverly edited promo) of amit

I think this is a little excessive. We don't have confirmed source for this story of Amit teaching Ankita. In fact in previous round when Emon got help from his contestants, Sony itself showed a video clip of it or when Prashant needed help with his diction. However, if Sony hasn't shown anything and if Amit does not goes on a interview to say this on record, then I dont think we should start making a huge deal out of it. Let's not make this Indian Idol picture any more ugly by adding speculations.
