Listeners want some sweet humble person to win. And if he/she is good looking, then it's like icing on the cake. The singer is trying to sing good inspite of being untrained and therefore, should win. This is what most of the Janta wants based on last years winner.

Actually, Sandeep (last year's winner) is a trained singer (but wasn't one of the best). Most II2 singers were trained.

Agree with Amrita(tpam) completely.. you cannot control voting.

Key is to enjoy the show and just support your fav. but really dont take the program to your heart. Its a game after all and win and loss are part/parcel of the game.

Sandeep II jeet kar bhi Anu Malik kaa gana nai gaya..
Deepali, Karunya, Monali got a song with Anu despite not winning. Thats the spirit and its a big break. It can take singers 5-10 years just to get 1 movie song in bollywood. Hopefully Deepali can do well in bollywood.

If Sandeep is trained, why is he learning classical music as mentioned by someone earlier on the forum. Anyway it doesn't matter. He won the title and is learning music at home, while Karunya has an album released, is playback singing in his state, hosting a singing show and sung in a Hindi movie.

Karunya is doing countless number of shows all around the world.. he's highly paid and probably more money in pocket that the 1 crore contract Sandeep has..

Of course Karunya and Amey were the better singers. Karunya is very successful and hopefully Amey will be as well. There is no question of that. But even a trained singer, undeserving singer can win.

hmm...i guess u are right. i should really stop taking this show to heart and just enjoy the great music, wish the best for deepali's future, and look forward to next week's episode when sonuji will come back.😊
