After hearing Amit's Omkara, I am convinced that Abhaas sang much better than Amit.
But this is not Amits' forte so fine... Amit is a great singer and #1 in II3

Despite not being his forte, his Omkara wasn't terrible. And yes his forte comes across as soft romantic numbers, but he did sing songs like dil lena khel hai dildar, bheegi bheegi, in dinon well too.
I hope this doesn't become a trend (consistent singer who doesn't match previous performances and disappoints, mainly due to expectations- that would be sad)
Amit himself was worried about it, it seems(source a friend of his brother said so). that was the reason he looked so upset. he was nervous to death cos he knew people had high expectations from him. that's why he looked as if a ghost has gone inside him. anyway this week i'm sure if he survives he'll be back to give a breathtaking performance.
