Lyrics .. Important?

I have had this thought in my mind for a while now ..

Do you guys think that knowing lyrics by-heart is that important ?? I don't think so because all the big singers and even these singers after a while, when they are ready to perform on stage, can make use of written lyrics while performing ... I have seen many use it in concerts ...

I think if they have less pressure in memorizing the lyrics, they can pay more attention to the sur and perform well ..

What do you guys say?

well i think its like 50-50 ..its quite possible...to forget lyrics..on live performances..even the bestest singers cud do this..

and on II..when you forget lyrics u get more votes 😆

yeah true .. that's why if they are allowed to use their own lyrics book/paper or whatever, won't they perform well ?

I think knowing lyrics is not that important but when you are performing it becomes important. If they carry paper then their performance will go down or may be contestant have to write lyrics all over body ...that will be fun to watch ..like dancing and making moves to read lyrics....

Smart contestant should forget lyrics if he/she is not able to sing that particular line well ...judges will criticise and then audiance will vote😛

I think knowing the lyrics of the song is pretty importent, cos the whole feel of the song is lost when you forget the lines. But when Amit forgot his lines it was so sad but it worked for his favour. If he didn't forget his lines we wouldn't even get to hear great performances like Nasha. So forgeting lyrics can be a good thing too. 😆

Its their passion or duty to sing..
How they learned the songs..
But yea the learned songs when they performs on Awards Ceremony..
