ENOUGH---IS---ENOUGH

After watching todays episode I think no one is good singer in II3 . ALL were besure , song choices were soo ordinary in those songs u cant show ur talent . Anybody can sing those songs like mera piya ghar aaya & tuze dhundata hu main har ghadi and all. I think just amit is good singer and other singers are just ok like chang is just good for some kind of songs .

I think II3 is boring there is no one who is the best like in last Indian idol amey and karunya was gr8 . but this time no one .. thumbs down for selection of II's singers. I think AVOI have too much better singers ....

But anyways these singers will get limelight till indian idol finishes . even who is gonna win II . they will also vanish after the compitition just like Sandeep .....No one knows him now .. he didnt even sing any single song in the movie. SO what is the reason for this show ? Usase aache to saregamapa & SVOI hai , those singers atleast get some start .

My friend is very good classical singer . she also performs in different cities . When she watched todays episode first time she was like what the hell are they singers ? They were just performing and just singing normally that anybody can sing . no one was in sur and no one attracted our attention. I think II walo ne selection ke waqt sirf performars ke looks dekhe and attitudes dekhe.

urm...i beg to differ. indian idol 3 has many talented singers like amit, deepali, emon, puja etc. n they are not besure. and there is no such thing as ordinary song i.e..hard song or easy songs. the point is u sing a song and u do it well. and hey its not easy to sing mera piya ghar aaya or tuze dhundata hu main har ghadi in front of such a big audience and performing at the same time. if these songs were easy, then why would the music directors choose experienced singers like kavita krishnamurty or shaan to sing them?
if u think all the singers are besure, then thts ur opinion. but there are many people here who disagree with u!

Well this shows that you or your friend (who is classically trained) has no idea about performance + singing LIVE on stage! That is what Indian Idol is all about, and if you cant get the whole concept then I suggest you start watching a different show.

your friend has taken classical singing training and those 4 judges sitting there are dumb. May be contestants of II are not great singers but for sure all of them are not besure. I think those judges know way better about sur then ur friend.

Who told you that we have no idea about performance + singing LIVE on stage! ...We have idea and infact everybody have that idea . But if you watch other show or there are some singers that they can perform just like good as these singers and sing fully 100% and any kind of song .

if u mean those other shows are sa re ga ma pa or SVOI, then they only judge singing....coz the contestants jus stand in one spot and close their eyes and sing. im not saying thts bad...coz these shows are basically luking for a playback singer only. however, indian idol luks for a singer/stage performer. the contestents must perform as in get involved with the audience, with the judges and make their act interesting. its not easy to sing and perform at the same time.

as shabana azmi said, for playback singers, they have the liberty to correct their mistakes instantly as they are in a recording studio....however, for stage performers, they only get one chance and in that one chance, i must say, II3 contestants are doing a fab job. 👏

Wow this is harsh, We have Emon, Amit, Deepali, Pooja as far as great singer's go, we have Anki and Parleen as far as great performers go. but non of them are what you could call besure and some of them are what great singers are made of. you might not like them but that doesn't make them besure.

If you dont like II....dont watch it...we enjoy it so let us enjoy it. there are 3 music based talent search reality shows on tv now...watch whichever one u like...no need to criticize thm. everyone is allowed tohave their own opinion. as far as talented singers are concerned, i feel that deepali, emon, amit and others are very talented and will go far, even if they dont win II title

I think even playback singers need to perform today. What makes Sonu Nigam the best singer in the country - his voice and his connection with the audience. He does not dance extraordinary, but has this charm which mesmerizes people during his stage shows. I don't think the songs were ordinary. Do you expect them to sing classical songs in every show. And if you think mera piya ghar aaya sung by one of the best singers in the country, Kavita Krishnamurthy, as ordinary, then I don't know how you define good singing.
