do u think dat looks really matters to become an indian idol. well, i dnt think so dat looks matters. its a music competition n its all abt good singing.looks dsnt matters at all. so wat do u think abt this???????comment..

Vijey, do not compare Srgmp and SVOI with II, only to degrade II! This is the II section, obviously there are II fans here...no degrading of II is allowed!

LOOKS SHOUDN't matter but it does...
thing is .indian idol is a person who will be representing india to the world. after he wins when he comes to london (the winner idol usually does ) .. he should have the personality and the voice and right looks to charm the crowd..

u dont need looks to be a good singer.. but u need looks to be a idian idol .coz wat they're looking for is a mixture of all.. ( well.. voice is definitely needed in a bigger proportion )

I tell u one thing :

Taking criticism on face is a job of a strong soul only...

If all u guys would keep running away from criticism then this forum will turn into a mere advertisement of indian idol...

A healthy forum consist of pro's and anti's..

If you silence one portion then it'll loose balance & i will call it ambushing the freedom of opnion...

And Megz...that's d main reason i think why some of the members of earliar times aint much active on these section (including me)

Comm'on..face the reality...dont hide urself from it..

If u have confidence in ur show then welcome criticism & lets have a healthy debate...

BTW....I have always maintained a level in my post that I dont straight away attack anyone..

If ppl get oversensitive....its unfair to blame me..

Constructive criticism is by all means allowed. However mocking II, making fun of it, degrading it infront of other singing competitions isnt allowed. It is a rule here, and you have to follow it. If you do not like the show, then do not watch it, simple. But you cannot degrade it by comparing it to other shows infront of II fans. This is a forum to discuss the contestants singing/performances and the overall show. Not to criticize it in comparison with other shows, the way you did.

Everyone here faces alot of constructive criticism, and we allow it also. You yourself said you are not active, so you must have not seen those healthy debate threads. However, degrading the show is a strict NO NO!
