I went through the website of indian idol and i found that all the participants are between 17 and 25

first they said ankita, shifa, richa, vartika all are 16 now its 17 in the website

and 2 person beyond 25 is pinky and anish Jain

II is not considering the married woman or what

men i know i think we had people in II,II2 who were married.

what's the age and marital status criteria

i think married people can participate, werent there two married people who came for auditions and one married girl got selected for audition. i dont know about age becoz there was one guy who came with a paper to read in hand and he said he worked with anu and all, and the judges were making fun of him 😆 😆 😆

I think Kshitij Wagh who made it to top 28 last year was married. Despite being a good singer, he was voted out. Maybe it had something to do with his martial status?
I don't think anyone in top 12 was married though.
Age criteria is 16-30 yrs old.
I don't think there's any criteria regarding martial status.

I have a feeling that SONY feels married men/women will no get support and they will get less sms money thts y they do it.

In Fame X also judges got the right to vote out one person from TOP 4 , and it was a married guy too who was voted out.

There is only age criteria which is 30. There is no marital criteria. Remember a couple in Kolkatta who sang very bad and then called judges so many names 😆. May be most married women have families to look after and can't spend so much time away from home. 😕

yeah

but i saw so many ladies who accompanied with their husband and kids/babies were crying and going back(Sony have not showed their singing talent)

so i think for ladies it's sure not to be married
