HERE I GO WITH SOME BEAUTIFUL NEWS OF MY DEAR SANDEEP WE LOVE YOU ALL....Bollywood stars to add gloss to dandia dos Jaipur, Sept 24. (UNI): A galaxy of Bollywood stars and wannabes will add fizz, glamour and gloss to the dandia frenzy here this weekend. Film and TV actors like Shilpa Shetty, Rakshanda Khan, Aman Varma, Mahek, singer Shankar Mahadevan, Indian idol Sandeed Acharya, Channel V super singer Ravindra Upadhaya, Femina Miss Indias Amrita Patki and Neha Kapoor will be here in the State Capital on Saturday and Sunday to grace the numerous dandia events being held in the city. Laughter Challenge hero Raju Srivastav, Indian Idol singer Neha Kakkar are also expected to showcase their talents here. Starting with a bang, the organisers are hoping that this star-studded weekend will bring in the crowds to their already publicised events. The main events organised by big media houses and corporates will be held at the city's Entertainment Paradise and Hotel Raj Mahal Palace. Numerous other resorts, hotels, gardens have arranged their own special parties to cash in on the rising dandia fever during these nine days with tickets ranging from Rs 200 to Rs 1000. Sandeep Acharya, who hails from Bikaner, is the much in demand artist and is finding it tough to turn down all such requests. But there's no word on the kind of amount these Bollywood stars are charging for their perhaps two-to-three minutes appearances at the shows. But if the organisers are willing to pay, the stars really don't mind putting in a fleeting appearance for a handsome packet. With innovations the name of the game, the organisers started dandia classes almost a month back to let people learn the right steps. And no wonder, the city's youth have grabbed the opportunity as the classes are also giving tips on the kind of dress, make-up and footwear to don for the festival.
With Dandia dos the current rage, it's sure a 'nach baliye' time for the organisers.
