A country of one billion. Only one idol. Who would that be? Amit Sana from Bhilai, Chhattisgarh or Abhijit Sawant from Mumbai? The grand finale was on Thursday night on Sony TV.

Interestingly, the next two weeks break the 4-month procedure and will not see the performance episode followed by the result episode. 'Indian Idol Mahayudh' on February 25 (9.30 pm) saw the talented duo performing and campaigning for votes across the nation.

March 4 will see them sing for an exclusive audience comprising A-list celebrities. Thursday's episode at 9.30 pm saw Kajol as the celebrity guest and judge. Beginning Thursday night, viewers can vote for nine days, right up to March 5 (9 am), when the Indian Idol will be announced in a special two-hour episode.

While Abhijeet Sawant is popular for setting the stage on fire, with his incredible performances, it is Amit Sana who has earned plaudits for being a talented singer.

so will history repeat itself and "talented" singer not making to top notch once more? who know!! just finger crossed!!

These are exactly my views! I see history repeating itself. I see the trend, and I am pretty upset once again. I was a huge fan of Amit Sana last time and this time I favour Karunya. I desperately hope that this time my fears and doubts prove wrong, and Karunya will emerge the winner.

sandy does have loads of similarity with abhi (NOT IN TERMS OF SINGING......there was something so fresh abt abhi thts missin in all the contestants frm all talent shows...none of them have wat abhi had 😕 😕 😕 ) The cute smile, the trends in voting, the same kinda nature, the likeability factor....

And if I remember correclty, Abhi himself said these things that sandy is just like him in many ways....

I am sure the next II2 is Sandeep. 😛

He is the dark horse who will out shine. There are so many Sandeep fans in India,I am amazed to know he has a lot of support. 😊

KARUNYA gonna TAKE THE CROWN. lAST YEAR THE MOST DESERVING CANDIDATE WAS AMIT SANA.

according to me KARUNYA is the deserving one,but looking at the trend of voting i strongly feel that sandy will win the title.even is sandy wins,karu has not lost the game ,coz he will shine evn more bright in his future.

crown lost its charm when anuj & sandeep survived and talented singers like amey & meenal got voted out. If not wat a finalle it would have been with AMEY, KARU at the top 2 & top 3 would be complete with MEENAL in it.

many say that sandy is sweet ,yep i too agree but why didnt girls vote for AMEY 😭 ,EVEN HE WAS CUTE,HE WAS VERY VERY VERY FAR MORE TALENTED THAN SANDEEP,AS MANY ARE SAYING THAT SANDY IS A TOTAL PACKAGE ,THEN WHT ABOUT AMEY. 😭 😭 😭
