indian idol update - When Ameesha was serenaded...
IN A shimmering pink and gold top, Ameesha Patel who visited the sets of the Indian Idol had the eight contestants, especially the young men wanting to croon Kaho Naa...Pyaar Hai to her. While we will have to wait and watch tonight's episode to see the spell she has on the Idolists, what happened on the sets is that Ameesha definitely had a great time even as the contenders sang all-time favourite love songs keeping in with the mood of Valentine's Day.

Here goes: Amey Date sang 'Dil ne tumko chun liya hai from Jhankaar Beats, Antara sang Zara zara bahakta hai from Rehna Hai Tere Dil Mein, Panna Gill crooned Agar tum na hote, Sandeep did a Salman Khan as he sang the Tere Naam title song, Ravi Tripathy had her grooving to Pretty Woman from Kal Ho Na Ho, Karunya sang the title song from Hum Tum; Saanson ko saanson se, Meenal Jain sang the romantic and melodious R D Bur man number Kuch na kaho from 1942 Ek Love Story while Anuj sang the beautiful Dil kya kare jab kissiko kissisi pyaar ho jaaye from Julie. Surprising, none of them sang any numbers from Ameesha's own films. Maybe they weren't romantic enough!
