Judge Anu pens poetry for 'Idol' lovers...

Romance between contestants Sagar and Abha seems to be brewing on Indian Idol sets

Reality shows are giving more than just a career option to the youth these days. A platform to expose their art seems ideal for quick recognition and money. But could it also be a possible ground to meet that special someone?

In the first season of Indian Idol, runner-up Amit Sana admitted having met his lady-love on the show. Rumours were rife about Prajakta Shukre and Rahul Vaidya seeing each other.

In the present season of Indian Idol too, we smell something brewing between contestants Sagar Arun and Abha. Of course, behind-the-scene information provided by our sources only substantiates that. In the theatre rounds (which was not telecast), when the duo performed the duet 'Tauba tauba ishq main kariya', their chemistry was far from being ignored. A source on the set says, "Anu Mallik couldn't resist comments like 'it was a sizzling performance' and 'bahut aag lagi hai'. He immediately commented, 'this is a hit pair'".

No wonder, last week when Sagar performed, Anu came up with some romantic verses for him that actually hinted towards Abha. According to sources, "When Anu asked Abha if she thinks Sagar would vote for her, she replied, 'Usey to raat bhar vote karna padega (he will have to vote for me all night).' Once Sagar's friends called to speak to him but ended up speaking to Abha for long."

Continues the source, "When we asked Abha about Sagar, she blushed. Once, we asked them how would they react if they were the final two contestants on the show; they just looked at each other not knowing what to say,"

Sagar did not hesitate to admit his affection for Abha either. Says the Idol contestant, "I have a soft corner for her and hope she makes it to the gala rounds. We gell quite well. We keep getting calls from our friends and relatives asking what's happening between us."
