recently he tweeted dat

"Apologies to every soul whom I'v hurt even if they wanted to hurt Me, cuz it's not d real Me to hit back at them. Old habits die hard! Life is 2 short 2 love, and I don't wanna waste it in giving power 2 negativity. I promise, this is d last anyone saw me this way. God Bless"

Does he really write "2" instead of "to"? That is beyond irritating.

I guess he is refering to the remark he made on an award function when he said no one before was like me and no one now is like me and some people were shocked by the remark. Or maybe at times he used to take pot shot at other singers, but I doubt the second case to be true as those were done only jokingly.

@Anony: Sonu went berserk on twitter, which is why he's apologising and leaving twitter forever.

I don't know the full story, but I can explain what one of my friends, who is a Sonu follower, explained to me.

Sonu lashed out at the media after they made fun of his hairdo. He was upset at the attitude towards musicians in India and he didn't like the news media's ethics. You can check his twitter page to see what he was writing.

Anyway, he realised that went overboard and has apologised. We all know what a great singer he is. He just couldnt control his anger when he saw the media's attitude. Lataji showed a lot of support for him and told him to ignore all the criticism and stick to his stance, but he felt that twitter was a very negative platform and left it. Hopefully this little controversy gets forgotten soon and we can just enjoy his music.

A few of his controversial comments on Twitter:

'Hindustan times ho ya Times of India, all they care is to run down musicians.Actors can come to a party in chappals, & that's fine wth them'

'I wanna break this myth about Indian singers.. The wah wah shit and kyaa baat hai... Wake up rascals :)'

'Ystrday sm1 told me that d language in @TheMumbaiMirror abt me, was a bit too prsnal. Prhps I had refused sex 2 d jrnlist at sm point. ;)'

To add to that he also mentioned he will go to any party naked so that was considered a bad reaction on his behalf by media and most people...

Today I was watching a show where they mention about this comment too people wonder why media can make him react like this by the hair style comment...

anyways i guess he got his point but the problem is basically the filthy words he used...

I think the reason he apologised was- few weeks ago he gave statements that in India, no one really cares for good singer and their talent, they just go by appearance...
