Hello everyone!

Vishwas opens in Gala 1 ...... Gets Eliminated!

Shivam
opens in Gala 2 ..... Gets in Bottom 3 despite being in the Top 3 Performers!

Its a pattern we have witnessed in the past seasons as well! A singer who is made to perform in the beginning has to pay a heavy price for doing so...Is it fair to them? NO....

What could be done?

One way of avoiding this could be to make the contestants ask for votes at the end of the show ( as was done in MKMM) This could be combined with a little recap of their respective performances followed by them giving the voting details....So even if someone missed the entire performance...they get to listen to a small clip of the song and also get the voting details right away....

It was heart wrenching to see Shivam in the Bottom 3....and it pinched more when we could see singers like Manisha getting a safe flag😕!

Well they always show a small clip in the end but I don't think even that's enough..I agree on this and I'll always maintain that it really has become a curse for singers going first simply cause viewers tune in late and miss the performance

they better have manisha sing first tomorrow

but I agree that the viewers shouldn't get voting details til the end..that just becames an unfair advantage to the later singers

I think the weakest performer in the previous episode should start the next new episode at the first position. That will be fair, I think.

You are forgetting that Manisha is from Kolkata. Bengalis really know how to vote. It is always happening. My prediction; one of the 2 Bengali's (Manisha and Arpita) will go to top 5.

I know we should not support regionalism. But its always happening.

😡

That is a good suggestion...but than who will determine the weakest performer? The judges have never openly suggested who the weakest performer was...cuz that would reduce chances of him/her getting votes in the first place....

Moreover, what if that particular someone gives his/her best on that particular day 😊 It would be than unfair to eliminate him/her....

Its complicated ! 😕

@Manik_mia: This makes me wonder may be Manisha is the reason for Arpita getting into the bottom 3 😕 Bengalis tend to vote ... I agree to that...but maybe the strong inclination towards Manisha....over factors other than talent are taking it away from Arpita...who is definitely more talented than Manisha in terms of singing 😔

Last time I checked ..in II 2 ..inspite of the judges constantly crticising Sandeep for being besura votes poured in ....and Sandeep Acharya was from Bikaner , Rajasthan ...in II3 ....Everybody knew most votes poured in from Darjeeling for Prashant Tamang..later on it came to notice that people from Nepal(sent their votes thru relatives/ friends) voted in bulk for Prashant too .....and in II4 it was Kapil Thapa ( army guy ) but lastly sourabhee won from Northeast ...not from Bengal...
Trend showed it's mostly the hometown that votes for the winning contestant ......
And lastly may the best ( at least a surili/surila)contestant win this time ....and we can keep the talk of regionalism aside without adequate proof
just my 2 cents ....

This fact that "the weakest is being placed at the first" should not be revealed to the public. Hence, also the fact that who is the weakest according to the judges should also be kept private. Thus, no one would ever be able to guess, not even the contestants themselves. It would be a secret between the judges and the managers for every week episode.

If they give a good performance, that is fine. But also think on the other side, what about the consistent good performers like Shashi and Shivam? Do they deserve to go in the bottom 3 in spite of giving the best of the best performances so far?

Nice topic by the way. 😊
