A very very very warm welcome to all of you to the Yashraj Kapil Appreciation thread.
This thread in made for discusing the very talented singer Yashraj kapil to is one of the contenders for the Indian Idol 5 throne.
He is not only immensly talented but also has the personality which is needed for an Indian Idol.
:: About Yashraj Kapil::
Yashraj never wanted to be 'just' a playback singer. He always wanted to be a singer who could set the stage on fire with his performance. He enjoys performing on stage and his confidence doubles up when he sees a huge audience waiting to listen to him. This confidence has always helped him in life.
He wants his voice, his music and his style to be recognized not only nationally but also internationally. He likes western classic music, sufi, ghazals, pop and the evergreen Bollywood music. When he's not practicing music, he loves to read books, play computer games and edit songs sung by him.
Yashraj Kapil was a winner of a reality show on television. Even though he emerged victorious and gained recognition, his career came to a standstill and he continued to struggle to get due credit for his talent in the music industry.
Being the only child of his parents, he has received a lot of love and attention from them. They have also been his constant support.
His favourite playback singers include Sonu Nigam, KK, Shankar Mahadevan, Nusrat & Rahat Fateh Ali Khan.
