Without being disrespectful, I think Javed Akthar is a lousy judge. He clearly showed favouritism. Sonu, Farah & Anu are just trying to hard to be funny & harsh. Shanker's comment to Qazi that he will do very well in the recording studio & has a good recording voice is by far the most stupidest judgement I have ever heard. You take any Tom, Dick & Harry & they will sing very well in the recording studio...Thats how Britney, Ashlee, Lindsay & Hilary have become superstars.
Also recently Sonu made a comment about this girl Lekha that she has far too husky a voice is not a great judgement IMO because the "Idol" format is to find the next big POPSTAR. Not a playback singer. The current judges are looking for playback singers & not Popstars. The "Idol" winner should be unique not a average joe/jane playback singer.

I agree with you. If they are looking for playback singers then call it Playback Indian Idol. They ALL seem to want regular female voices(Overly sugary & sweet) Its sad for female singers like Lekha, because they will never get a chance :(

What I loved about this girl was the way she Jazzed up "Bheege Honte" so different than the original version! I hope she makes it far!

1000 new judges..
where to find them..and which one..?

from india-forums..
All users here..it seems know more than our current judges and are generally not biased and don't believe in "favourites" and are extremely modest
