Abhijeet Sawant > No, it's not true, just a rumour. This is just a start of my career, and I want to concentrate on my work. Thank you.

Rani > Why so late for the chat?
Abhijeet Sawant > I was stuck in a traffic jam.

Mehnaz > Hi Abhijeet, are you gonna come to the US or Bangladesh anytime soon? Please do, because I love you and I wanna see you up close.
Abhijeet Sawant > Yeah, I will be in the U.S sometime, next month. And I don't know yet about Bangladesh, but there are plans.

Deewani4eva > First of all I love your voice! Secondly, any plans for Bollywood? You'd make it undoubtedly.
Abhijeet Sawant > Thank you. I have done some playback singing for Asshiq Banaya Aap Ne (movie). The song is Marjava, and I have sung some more songs also.

Sanam > Hey Abhi, you are the best! Any plans of coming to Australia? Love you.
Abhijeet Sawant > As of now, there are no plans. But if you are calling me there, I will surely go. Love you too.

Aaina > Hi Abhijeet! Dare to answer my question? Don't you think you are overly hyped because of (the show) Indian Idol? I heard your album and it's quite average. Don't you think it would have been a big disaster if you were not an 'Indian Idol?'
Abhijeet Sawant > I don't think so. I have confidence in myself. But, the show, Indian Idol helped, as I got a lot of fame in very little time.

Sadzaf > Could you please tell us something about your daily schedule? How is the life before and after 'Indian Idol'? Is there any change? I read in an interview that your dream is to win a Filmfare Award. I wish that all your dreams came true.
Abhijeet Sawant > I am very busy doing live performances. So, in the morning, we are just running and boarding flights. Before 'Indian Idol' it was like I had no work, was sitting at home, playing cricket with friends. And now, my life is very hectic and we are working almost 20 hours in a day.

Abhijeet Sawant > Hi, yes, I am actually chatting with all of you....

Deewani4eva > Yeah. I know about the music in movies. But I meant, are you gonna be acting?
Abhijeet Sawant > I have received some offers and everyone has been asking me the same question. But now I am concentrating on singing. If I get a offer in the future, which I feel is really good for me, then I will definitely take it up.

Kkarishmakkp > After being a celebrity now do you still get time out for your family and friends?
Abhijeet Sawant > No, I really don't get time. But I take out time. And they are very happy that I am busy.

Arvind > Do you think you can fulfill Kishore Kumar's place?
Abhijeet Sawant > I don't think I can take Kishore Kumar's place. But definitely I will make a good place in Bollywood.

Shweta > I have an advice. Reply to all your fans who call you, mail you, and post you, then aapka naam and fame kahi nahi jayege (it will increase your name and fame). That's what Hrithik did and he is famous till today.
Abhijeet Sawant > Yes, I will try to do it. Thanks for the advice.

Nila > Hi, my dearest, sweetest Abhijeet! When you went attended the Fame Gurukul (realty show) and sang with (contestant and now a winner) Rooprekha , what did you think of her singing?
Abhijeet Sawant > She is a good singer. But she has to lose some weight.

Abhijeet Sawant > Not yet. I am searching.

Vikhurana > When are you marrying?
Abhijeet Sawant > I have not even thought about it.

Nisha > If you work 20 hours a day, when do you do your riyaaz (practice)?
Abhijeet Sawant > It's difficult to take time out for riyaaz, but most of the time I practise singing in my car. And I carry a small instrument called electronic Tanpura (which I use for my riyaaz ).

Deewani4eva > Coming down to Canada any time soon?
Abhijeet Sawant > Yeah, I think in Nov. or Dec.

Delhiboy > Abhijeet, what is your ultimate dream now?
Abhijeet Sawant > To be a successful playback singer.

Abhijeet Sawant > No, it's a part of the popularity that makes me better. Thanks.

Abhijeet Sawant > No, there is no connection.

Kkarishmakkp > How was your first time experience acting in CID ( a TV serial)?
Abhijeet Sawant > That was a very bad experience, as an actor because I was acting for the first time in my life. I was very nervous...

Moonmoon > Abhijeet, I think you need to have a show called " kaun banega abhijeet sawant's wife " instead of " kaun banega carorepati " because you have so many fans who are dying to be with you, including me.

Abhijeet Sawant > I think everyone knows that Indian Idol is more popular than Fame Gurukul . Thank you.

Abhijeet Sawant > They haven't told me anything. Who knows, may be, it could be possible.

Abhijeet Sawant > I have so many best friends from Indian Idol. I can't just name one. From Gurukul , Arijeet is my favorite.

Kkarishmakkp > What was your first reaction when you were announced the first Indian Idol?
Abhijeet Sawant > I was smiling...

Ramu > How do you rate Sa Re Ga Ma programme as compared to Fame Gurukul ? The quality of singing is much higher level in Sa Re Ga Ma . What do you think about it?
Abhijeet Sawant > Yeah, that's true because in Sa Re Ga Ma they are only singers but in Fame Gurukul they are performing while singing.

Shweta > I don't like to eat dal-chawal but when I came to know that it's your favourite, I started eating that and jabse suna ki aap ghar pe jameen pe sote hai tab se mein bhi jameen pe hi sooti hu.bas itna hi chahati hu aapko (after knowing that sleep you on the ground I too have started sleeping on the floor ).
Abhijeet Sawant > Thank you. But it's not important to follow my lifestyle, as long as you like me, it is more than enough.

Sohnikuri > Do you have any upcoming albums coming up for release? Can't wait. I hear your songs everyday.
Abhijeet Sawant > There are some plans but nothing has been decided as of now. Thank you so much for that.

Ashana_hi > Abhi, if you marry a girl who is not from India, will you adjust with her?
Abhijeet Sawant > Hi, it will be difficult for me. But if I am in love with her, I will manage everything.

Sanam > Hey Abhi, what is the best compliment you have ever been given? Love you so much.
Abhijeet Sawant > It came from choreographer-turned-filmmaker, Farah Khan, when she said that after hearing my song tears came into her eyes (this she said at the time of Indian Idol competition last year).
