We're supposed to recognise talent and we're supposed to encourage it. We have always opened ourselves to talent. We're a nation that has seen such great composers and such wonderful singers.

We're a country that listens to Rafiji, Kishoreji, Lataji, Ashaji, SPB, Hariharan, Sonu, Shaan, Shreya, Sunidi to name a few. A country that has encouraged the likes of Rahman.

WHATS WRONG WITH US? Where did our ears go? Our sense go?

How did people start voting for besuras like Kapil instead of the rare gems like rajdeep?

I resign. I can no longer watch the show that doesnt command an iota of respect! thats completely become crap.

what singing competition are we holding when none of the 3 can actually sing properly and consistantly. And the great singers liek Rajdeep, Bhavya and Prasanjit are out!

Last Year the winner was a man in uniform (Policeman) ... this year the top MALE singer is also a man in uniform - a Fauji (He may eventually win it all). I have an idea look for a someone who sings mediocre but wears uniform (for example someone from Navy or Airforce or even a mail man). He will definitely go on top and will beat singers like Rajdeep, Prasanjeet, Bhavya, Amay, Amit Paul etc .... Maa tujhe salaam..

i agree with you......but this is not the first time this has happened........most of the times the deserving contestants are left behind because the public vote for their favourites based on reasons other than singing.....

And yes as a nation we have become tone deaf.....thats the reason so many besura singers have their songs topping the charts nowadays........but its a case of hit today gone tomorrow.......after a few years these untalented singers go into oblivion & only the truly talented survive.

I don't want 2 sound...rude....but this is what I believe about people in India.....

There is still a difference in cultures in India...and due to this major obstacle, no matter how besura a singer may be,he gets his regional votes to bring pride to those people....it's really sad that the majority of people there are pretty much deaf when it comes to sur and taal and all the components of music;(
