I'll talk about the episode later but to justify Sawai's elimination by putting him with Pawandeep was un-freaking-believable. Do the makers think we are dumb? They did the exact same thing to eliminate Anjali. Which means they are clearly trying to save someone. There were weaker singers than Sawai who should've gone first, if this isn't manipulation, then idk what is.

I am okay with Sawai leaving. I liked him when the show started but then he was given very similar songs and sometimes he just repeated the same songs in his performances. He didn’t even participate in the chorus singing most of the time.
From my POV it’s a fair elimination.

How were the performances today?

All performances were good. I actually think Sawai should have been eliminated before Nachiket. If it was that time I would have felt it was fair but now considering he is highest voted consistently it feels wrong for me.

you misunderstood my post. I was telling Nihal and Sayali are low vote getters in my opinion. By no means iam saying they are not good. Everyone of them are too good. But vote banks are not same for everyone.

Somehow I never like this strategy of bringing Pawandeep and SMP down just for the sake of eliminations. It feels we are dumb to vote someone.

Someone told me on this thread only they will take only finalists to those concerts. I have no idea on all these because I never followed any of previous seasons contestants post the finals. So iam just going by others words.

So far I remember, during II10 such announcement was made for Salman, Nilanjona and Nitin before completion of the season. Everyone thought these 3 would be top 3 but practically the result was not the same.

Coming to the episode, I was so happy to see Anandji sir, he is such a joy on screen. I love the energy he brings and he has so much fun! 👏❤️

I hope to be half of that when I get older!

Coming to the performances:

Sayli: Great as always. Loved her since the auditions and I feel now she's getting her due. Very consistent.

Nihal: He's getting better and better. I love that he sings seedha seedha, but has lots of emotions.

Arunita: No words man, she's definitely in the Top 5. Truly blessed.

Pawandeep: I liked his voice today compared to last week, maybe he's finally getting his strength back after COVID. He's generally a hit and miss for me, but today it worked.

SMP: Prefered this performance over all her previous performances. One thing though, I felt it was very disrespectful of Anu and Sonu to come on stage and dance when she was singing. Let her finish her performance, then ask for an encore. But don't distract.

Danish: He was nice today. Salman had sung the same song two seasons ago but I preferred it in Danish's voice.

Ashish: Total miss for me. I find his pronunciations very distracting. Imo he is the weakest in the lot, I have no idea how he is holding on so far. The only songs I've seen him sing well are the ARR ones, maybe coz Ashish is a major fan of his.

Sawai: I missed his performance, so can't comment.

Throughout they did promote PD and some contestants and have sidelined rest of the contestants providing more screen time to some and unequal time allotment as well as unequal songs distribution .It's just because now some get the attention that they deserve so you point out . All are talented contestants and I am not sure on what basis they select top 5 let the most deserving contestants reach the finale . Since the winner could be between Aru and pawan and I wish Arunitha wins . She is the finest singer that we have and deserves to win.

So next week is Senior Citizen Special. Javed Akhtar will be there too. Sayali is singing Dhol Bajne Lage, Arunita Tere Liye Hum Hain Jiye, Pawandeep Zindagi Ki Yahi Reet Hai.

This is anjali all over again. they could have shown sawai/ashish or someone else. its a joke if audience believe PD will go over sawai or that he will be bottom 2.
