Here is what I understand.

From Gen2 ka story Kairi was around 6 years when Imlie2 and Atharva meet and then they have the second child. So you can take that Kairi was around 7 - 8 years when the present Imlie was born.

And then due to Anu killing the parents, Kairi and Imlie were floated out in a small boat. I think that is when Meera took them in. It is possible that Meera raised them for a year or so before the children got moved to Mama - Mami ka house.

So maybe Mama might have been the one who raised them since then and maybe Imlie was around 1.5 - 2 years when she came there. Kairi is the one who might remember Meera and Kairi might know Agastya too. Maybe Kairi met Dhanraj when she used to come meet Agastya.

So technically it does make sense that for Imlie she does not remember Meera but Kairi might remember her and now Kairi is no more. It looks as if Agastya moved to Chaudary mansion when he was around 4 - 5 years old or may be a little bit older.

Today was Agasthya’s day. And Sai was brilliant. His interactions with Imlie and Daadi were beautiful.

Agasthya and Daadi share a precious bond. He can do anything for his Daadi. But somewhere that’s not a good sign. He burnt his childhood memories and his mother’s photo to please Daadi. He is being over compensating for Daadi’s love.

How can Daadi question him about keeping his mother’s pic? Why can’t he have memories of both his parents?

I think this track is to question that. Maybe at the end of the track the family will understand that Meera was not that wrong as they were thinking her to be and will accept Meera ka memories too. I did not like that Dadi questioned Agastya for holding on to his mother's photo. Arey she is his mother. Why can't he have her photo. Sai is getting so many different shades to portray in this show. His and Dadi ke scenes have genuine warmth in them.

I am sure Agasthya’s mom has done some big sacrifice for Chaudhary family. Not sure how much Daadi knows about it. But Agasthya should know this for his own peace.

I hope they show the backstory. I would love to see baby Agasthya and baby Imlie’s interaction.

Also Sai will get a day off

The woman who took care of two orphans and that too girls can't be a bad person in any manner so there's indeed some mystery around meera which is hidden from Chaudhary family

One good thing they showed in the episode was that Chaudary sweets is functioning and Agastya was working on a laptop. Small mercies - thank god Gattu has the job still and he is looking into the matters of the shop

One thing I am noticing is that they are making Imlie Sonali and Shivani bond stronger and there is almost no scene of Imlie and vishwa together after Imlie went to plead to Navyaji for Shivani wedding. Love triangle with Vishwa is definitely cancelled I feel warna Imlie Vishwa ko abhi tak kafi clichés scenes mil Gaye hote ..Vishwa will now be just important character in stalker track. Nothing else .

I don't know why everyone is saying it was a slow episode. I quite liked it, TBH. Agastya-Imlie scene was good.

I was happy that Agastya is not going to give up getting to know about Imlie's past that easily. He got Imlie revealing about her parents..that's a good step forward. Also, loved how compassionate he was when he got to know its a real story. I think this is where their past, upbringing and personality comes into play. No matter how broken, Agastya has still got a family, a loving grandma who is a matriarch in the house, a house, an older brother who looked after him, mama mami..so he is more comfortable being vulnerable..yes, he is quite broken himself but not to a point where he has become sakht (for the lack of better work)...he has a tenderness in his heart, a fun loving nature, which he had a luxury to maintain...that showed up in his reaction after Imlie got to know about his parents backstory..he was ok to open up, rest on her lap and take her support..even when daadi pushed him away in yesterday's episode, he took Imlie's hand for support..

Imlie, on the other hand, has no real family...she doesn't even know about who her parents were...she is not financially stable, she only has a mama who genuinely cared for her but he had no standing in the household and was half the time caught up in his own problems...plus she had to financially take care of her family and an ailing nephew, work in the bar to earn money from a very young age...all this has made her very sakht...she is not easily affected by her surrounding world..that's why Agastya's care or anger doesn't affect her a lot, she goes on doing her business, doing her duties without expecting much in return...that's why she took so long to open up also..I feel she really doesn't like to think abt her past and that's why she keeps avoiding telling it to Agastya too...also today, while telling her side of the story, she just had tears in her eyes but such controlled emotions, she didn't break down or take Aagstya's support to console herself...it would be beautiful to see her slowly getting comfortable with the fact that someone is there who can and will care about her and when she starts relying on him a bit more...

Oh and I totally didn't realize kaaki maa would be Agastya's mom until i came to the forum...that's an interesting twist!! I am so confused by the overall timeline and everyone's age in general but still..having that past connection between Agaslie on top of those childhood memories they show in between is quite cute!!

Btw, in yesterday's episode, Sai's expression when he realized Imlie has pranked him abt gold digging thing were priceless!!

And yes, the Imlie forum rank shot up

I feel this thread has become more of a DDT than an AT Adrija deserves an AT too..she is doimg such a great job But its just convenient to come to single thread and discuss everything so lets keep it here lol

Lovely post. I agree with you that Imlie doesn't show a lot of emotion about her past and is very strong so emotionally she does not need Agastya but Agastya needs her support as he's way too impacted by the past.

It was sad to see Dadi indirectly make him burn his mom's photo. I hope he gets another pic from imlie or the stalker as his memory. I'm sure Meera was a positive person. Sad that Dadi ne bete ko maaf kia for the affair and everyone is allowed to mourn him but not Meera. I hope she realizes soon how hypocritical she's appearing.

Yayyyy to the forum rank. I think aur upar jaa sakta hai coz we are having more people come now to the AT. I was thinking yesterday about her AT too but yehi wali moves at a snail pace woh bhi zyada nai chalegi. Plus most scenes and tracks have Agastya as central so we can talk here itself. Addy ki bhi tareef yahin karlo who has stopped anyone. She's a good actor for sure.

On the second watch I feel Sai should participate in some cooking show. He looks good while cooking.

I have seen so many actors hold the knife and spoon in an awkward way.
