I think above all, the 4th point is the main reason. If Aryan had ever wanted to find her, he would start from pd, it is the most natural thought for him and therefore, even though subconsciously, Imlie chose pd because she wanted Aryan to come look for her, to come get her.

Dekha jaaye to that town hasn't given her much either. If the city represents loss for her, it is the people of her hometown that remind her of that loss. It is that very place that shoved her down that route too (Adi forced marriage) and looking at it, things haven't gotten better (referring to the mandir fiasco)

It is also, despite the cruelties of the people, her place of comfort since Meethi resides there. When she has nothing left, she will return to the one place that will always have its doors open for her.

Bold: True. Here working at a smaller company she has a say. Being a mere employee in the city she wouldn't have been ale to show the stories she wanted to or even do things for her people. That is why pd makes most sense.

So y did imlie stayed helpless n in PD

1 : Imlie came to her mother bcoz she was broken when she lost cheeku ...n her Abp..Abp was her dhruv tara, her sheild , her power bcoz she knew Abp has got her back ...but she unintentionally hurt him so I think she was hurt n more broken at the thought of losing Abp forever...

2: Imlie didn't want to live without her Abp n I think she decided this punishment for herself to listen to humiliation of PD ppl..but for cheeni n Amma she shows them that she is fine..

3: Imlie can never give the place of his boss to anyone else other her ASR ...so imlie turned into freelance independent reporter n here her news are the betterment of ppl of PD..

4: if they were to show imlie living in some other city n earning good ..Abp wud have thought that she never loved him the way he did ...his loss his cheeku was never imp to her bcoz they cud not show her financially stable...but now they will make Aryan realize what Imlie suffered for past 25 years of her life when she was never at fault....

Beautifully put and I second this thought but my first point would be 4th point 😉. It is not difficult for Aryan to search her anywhere but yes she wanted to keep it simple come to PD take me back home. I am still here and you know I love you so I keep it simple.

Apart from that I agree to all your points and I strongly feel she stayed just to make a better place for living to the girls or women over there by eradicating the social evil. She wanted to do this way before but she got married and all those things were not possible because she has her own battle. Now that she has lost her battle she wants to do better for her village. I don't know episodes before 310 but what I can give reference is during the Atank track she was not gone only for ATK but for her villagers too. She kept saying hamara gao.
