I have same question is it valid to show animal cruelty and domestic violence without a journey of protest against it?

Feminism is the need of the show right now against guards of patriarchy who are the women of the show themselves and being liberal to entertain their thought is not even a choice...

Yup mirchi was calling in distress and Jyoti was shown holding crushed green feathers. It was mighty clearly she strangled mirchi.

They shouldn't have killed Mirchi. Jo could just have put him in cage and kept somewhere unnoticed. But as we can see that she doesn't even spare human's from killing poor bird will not even considered in her list of living beings. Now I want her to get exposed by 500 episodes anyhow. When we talk about fiction, A lot matters on who committed the crime against whom.

When narmada slapped imlie, it led to huge outrage because we've been part of Imlie's journey for months. Same didn't happen today when Jyoti slapped Harry, because we hardly saw him for 2 days, also Jyoti being a negative character is expected to behave that way while narmada was positive for longest time and it was more of a shock to see her commit this.

Same, Jyoti killed mirchi, we expect her to be cruel so it doesn't lead to as much outrage.

Cruelty when coming from safe place hurts more.
